I was there ,,the system broke down and it would have taken 10 minutes to fix ,,which would have been a total disaster in the middle of a pumping set,,,and what did Garlin do??make up a song on the spot ,abut the situation ,,,and without missing a beat ,or stuttering even once ,,the crowd went crazy in awe and astonishment of this great artist and son of our soil,,,and on top of that he never cussed ,talk duty woman talk ,disrespect anybody ,,,,and is just pure genius ....Spainard youh Larrrrge

His ability to just freestyle on the spot while synonymous with being a great lyricist in a way reminiscent of being a great jazz artist. Improv is a key element of jazz and a freestyle in essence is a form of improvisation. Bunji is the reason I fell in love with Soca and this is one of the reasons why.

First off, this was brilliant. Secondly why do we have to compare Soca artist? We should appreciate everybody for their own style. Bunji is a lyricist and he is the best at that but he is not a jump up person, you stand and sing with him, Destra and Saucy you watch them wine, Fay-Ann, Machel and Iwer does have you jumping like crazy. Everybody plays their part in the carnival. They all cannot be the same, variety is the spice of life
