A snare solo from the Haskell W. Harr Drum Method Book 2. I need to practice my flams a little bit more.

You did an outstanding job on that piece. I remember doing this exact piece for a try out for 9th grade high school band in 1969 or 1970. It was near the last few pages of the book if I remember correctly. I knew nothing of try outs and was used to playing on a rubber pad so it was quite. When I got into the very small practice room, I was faced with an open snare drum. I just went to town on it and got 2nd chair. My wife is learning to play drums and you just confirmed the importance of rudiments. I already knew how important they were because I was a left-handed drummer playing a right handed kit. I needed the sticking control to offset my left-handed approach. Thanks for posting this video.
