You're killing it with the Stripers man. I grew up in Europe so was always more drawn to fresh water fishing but last summer had a blast with flounder so I figured I must give Striped Bass a try as well. First time I went out a week before Easter. Caught 2 nice size on Saturday, lost 2 on the pull. Sunday I caught one. Both times on Raritan Bay, Staten Island side. But since then been out few times and not even a bight. Tried Raritan, Great Kills and around Verrazano Bridge. Just wondering if you could share few tips, patterns, whatever. Obviously not asking for spots but anything that could help me target them more effectively would be greatly appreciated. Ps. I use 6" SP Minnow in bone white and green soft plastics from Z-Man

You just got to keep trying. I’ve been some of those spots you mentioned with no luck as well. I heard it has been good though. Finding bait always helps and bouncing around is definitely necessary to consistently find fish! Bone SP minnow is a great choice for shallower areas. Particularly in the day, deep water or bait is almost necessary for a good bite.

Nice video. Just some constructive criticism. Try not to have any landmarks in the background. Even though I’ve never fished that spot (I will now) I know where it is and confirmed it via Google Earth.
