When mai died my heart was shattered into million pieces .. If director had ended there I would have died from vexation annoyance depression agony.. I decided not to love anyone coz if we lose someone we love before eyes it's the most terrific pain in the whole universe.. Even though it's an animation it deeply affected my feelings.. Movie Spoilers Ahead!!! In a way, it was all a dream by kid Shouko. All the characters then get Shouko's dream in the form of their own dreams, and the story plays out almost exactly the same except Shouko gets a heart transplant without any of the cast dying.
