I was in a foul mood before watching this, but concentrating on your project has bounced me back into a better place. Thank you for persevering and completing this episode, when you must have been feeling numb with the loss of your dear companion. A local open garden, included a mature hornbeam arch very similar to this; it was my favourite element in the whole design.

What a fabulous way to improve a pathway that you have walked along for 1/4 of a century, and with Beatle for a good number of those years! I’m so pleased to see this video as I am considering a few options for treating a relatively narrow garden to improve the pathway. My heart breaks for you but am confident the little one had a wonderful time with you and loved it all until the last. So sweet to honour her this way. I lay pond liner under all paths .Nothing then can grow through it to ruin that path. No weeding of it and time saved for other jobs in 5 acres of art and craft garden rooms
