10:40 that makes so much sense. I’m diamond in solo ranked and I’m bronze in double up because my duo (who is admittedly not the best player) are getting absolutely smurfed on every game.

Note that it’s only this simple in like gold. Also those 11 games were over the course of like 2 months since it feels a bit misleading

Been gm a couple times in double up now. It feels like it takes much longer to rank up. Also want an advanced guide so can cross that last barrier!

I'mma say double up takes longer to rank up because 1. Fewer people playing it competitively 2. Only 4 placements, so less LP gain on a 1st 3. High ranked players could be grouping with lower ranks which brings the average rank down?

Can someone please explain the assist mechanic? I’ve been searching but can’t find any clear information. From what I understand, there’s the normal assist mechanic where, after you win, you can assist your teammate after a few seconds. But why does it sometimes happen that I win a round, and yet my teammates opponent gets assisted with a full board (which i killed )-even though I’m the one who won?! Is there some item, map mode, or hidden rule causing this? Where can I find detailed information about this mechanic? It’s so frustrating not knowing why this keeps happening. 😩

There are 3 different duos against you. You and your teammate aren't finding the same duo. It should be very obvious if you ever scout during your game.
