I have an ICCO frig/freezer that has an insulated cover. I added 1/2" carpet underpad between frig and bag, cutting out the vent areas. This made a huge difference. Then while in the desert I used my window shields on top of that to keep the sun off the top and off the sides. I was able to run my frig on economy mode and everything stayed frozen and ran very minimally ... saving on battery power.

When it is really cold your tires will get a little deflated it will gain pressure as your tires warm up
