They are pretty quick, but there are fast SAW (straight Away) boats that can go well above 100 mph. This guys are in the 65 mph or so zone. Big these boats are about big beautiful scale look, awesome to see.

gpage dude these boats are way over 60 haha. My little 40” cat hull runs 75 with ease and these things would blow me out the water. These boats are running 90 easily on the back stretch

Nice. The description says over 100 kmh which is around 62 mph. My Zelos twin does that from Horizon hobby. Its 36" long and has twin motors that run on 4 3s batteries and cost about a $1000 by the time you buy batteries. The size of these boats makes them look so much faster. My boat will go airborne with a good gust of wind though. I wish I had the extra size to make it stay in the water.

I've always wanted to try that! It would be really hard to get stable enough footage though, even just a little wind the fpv feed on a drone can start to shake, with all the vibrations and harsh movements of a boat skipping on water, you'd have to have a "clean-dirty" section. Meaning the camera is mounted on rubber or some other isolation material. My stepdad has a pretty quick smaller speed boat I should try to convince him to let me try a camera on there

Beautifull power boats and absolutely loved the video, speed seems a bit on the low side for the hull. Motor power could use more top end for amusement. The rol swing dictates to cut the power, with a little tuning you should be able to hold the throttle longer open. Love the deep-V over anything else for the brute force!

You guys know what you're doing they can get airborne really easy. Keep the work play ratio at 90% play 10% . After you get all the bugs out. Very nice mechanical music 🎶🎶🎶

Hull will cost at least $600 fiberglass-$1000+ for carbon fiber, 2x speed motors+2x heavy duty water cooled esc's $600, 2 nice surface drives with rudders and props and drive $700 plus super heavy duty steering servo $160 and receiver $80+ and each motor will take two 6s 5500 cells at $100 ea. ($400 total) about $3k...

every boat video i watch has boats making 100G turns. lots of them are really twitchy when it comes to direction change. Do some program the rates to be speed dependent?..maybe just changing rates down to make them less likely to roll?..

Does anybody know how hard it would be to convert my old Carlson fiberglass v Hull with two sponsons on each side. Super stable on the water. It's even gone through waves 3 ft hi and come out running on the other side using my nitromethane motor. Any ideas would be appreciated ???

I would say the black and red one is the one that was Best in show black on the sides with a red dome seems to be taking the shortest line around and moving the fastest more stable flight oh whatever you call it

@@ToyManFlyer1100 Thanks, that occurred to me. I recall watching unlimited hydros racing and turning fins were mentioned frequently. They only turned left so l assume the fin was on the left sponson and was used to minimize sliding and trying to stay out of troughs that could cause flipping. These boats turn so fast it's hard to believe they don't roll over often.
