Small business grows an economy and bring value to it faster than big investors. Big investors requires more concessions from governments and sometimes engaged in illegal activities. Ain't nothing wrong in attracting small investments, the local Zambian would benefit more. Example: I am moving to Tanzania in a few months time, on my three previous visits I scoped out business opportunities and settled on three. The three business I have settled on I have researched and tested thoroughly, are you telling me as a potential small investor I am not adding value to the area of Tanzania where I have decided to settle down? C'mon now. I am here in Canada finalizing my move but I already have two employees in Tanzania working for me for the past three months, I pay them above what they would normally make per month. When I visit Tanzania I am there one to two months at a time, the lady who clean the house twice per week and wash my clothes on Saturdays I pay her 60k tsh per visit. The white man, the Arabs and Indians pay that per month. Am I not adding value to the economy? They make a wage, can support their families, shop at the markets and shops in turn adding value to economy also. C'mon now

Just come for holidays. We have many many Indians in Zambia, very accommodating kind people! There’s an area in Zambia, (Makeni) 10 years ago it was bush now there’s big beautiful houses, mainly owned by southern Asians. I know this because I went to university with an Indian/ Zambian who updated me about Zambia back in 2017.

@@tonyrichards9794 yes my brother I’m. Based in Kabwe Central Province. We’re luck to have changed the leadership of our country otherwise this country was going to be sold. The previous regime was almost like a mafia organization. For now things look promising though it will take some time to put the economy back on track due to the huge debt and other economic fundamentals that were messed up as well as the escalating costs of oil.
