この時、一年生の眼鏡かけた男子部員。1年後の映像を見てトランペット担当として立派に成長してた。体の線が細いから厳しい練習に耐えられるか心配したが見上げた根性。この子のステップの切れが好きで注目してたよ！

橘のカワイイを凝縮したようなDMさん DMや部長を同級生が決める橘方式は素晴しいと思います。一緒に入学し知らない者同士だったのが生活、技術、体力、精神的に困難を乗り越える中でお互いを知りその実感で自分達の意志で選ぶ。一つの組織であっても監督や上級生には見えない部分が有ります。組織がまとまらない時、殆どはその見えなかった部分が影響しているのです。さらに1年生で将来の役割が決まるのも大きいです。そのような方式で選ばれる子は責任感も強く足り無い部分は懸命に努力するでしょうし、その期間が有ります。同級生も自分達で選んだ仲間に信頼とサポートを寄せるでしょう。

この映像でわかった事は、伝説の2018ローズで木琴の学生さんは、後輩に軽い鉄筋を持たせた優しい心使いをしていたのかな。そしてドラメの両脇サブ・ドラメは先輩が固めていたんですね。そして疲労していても笑顔でパレード。ローズも大変だったんだろうなぁ? 驚きの体力!

京都橘高校吹奏楽部にたくさんある魅力の一つに、演奏・演技の形態を選ばないというのがあるように感じます。グランド良し、ステージ良し、パレード良し、座奏良し。どのような状況でも観客を感動させられるのは、吹奏楽部の皆さんが獲得している技術・体力・精神が本物だからですね。

Japanese schools have a variety of clubs, and every student is expected to attend one. Wind club activities are traditionally preferred by girls, boys tend to go to baseball or soccer clubs. The band has a 107 students (2018). They train before and after school hours, weekends and during the holidays. The Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band are magnificent, and I have lost count of the number of video clips I have viewed. The hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, energy shows through in their performances. Long may they continue.

Not an easy thing to do and they do it ease and grace. Wow!!

Sadly, most of those people watching see just another band and have no idea the effort it took to produce this. They won't see the matching ribbons on the poni-tails, or notice them all bouncing in the same way at the same time or see the way the flags and instruments are all held in the same position, or the way the hands and fingers are extended all in the same position and manner. They won't notice how the band automatically adjusts it's row width to fit the available space for marching or how they back up if necessary when there's a stop in the marching. Those of us who have marched in a High School or college band know the difficulty of what they are doing. I want the band and instructors to know that those details are not lost in the overall effect. We have nothing like this in the U.S.A. and it is indeed a pleasure to see these young people doing something difficult to the best of their ability and confident that what they are doing is being done correctly and at the same time fully enjoying it!

I would have to politely disagree. You would have to be blind not to see the obvious high quality in Tachibana. IMHO Kyoto Tachibana SHS is the greatest marching band in the world today(2018)!

I know! I was in a band in High School and college and now I realize how bad we were. There are a lot of Japanese High School and Junior High School bands and they all seem to have some things in common: Many are mostly composed of girls, they all sound great, and the students exude an air of confidence in what they are doing that you don't feel with most U.S. bands. Of course Tachibana is likely the best in the world and their attention to detail is incredible!

This group is definitely amazing and I notice all of the things you listed, I also agree that it takes a lot of time and hard work to do this but having tattoos, nose rings, piercings and wearing makeup have nothing to do with the amount of effort someone puts forth. If you think that those things effects someone’s work ethic you might need to do some rethinking because last I checked a fashion statement does not make anyone less of a hard worker... 😕😒

以前のを色々とみかえしてます。 慶次郎さんの撮影は本当に、皆さんと 違った感じで、パレード部門はangle 良し、抜き、引き良しで歩く、歩く歩くって、もんじゃ無い位に歩き回られて、先回り有りの、出迎え感や、追従する時の並行感、高低差がズバ抜けてgooですよ。(^.^) 見てる側としては、違和感が有ったり、見辛かったり、気分が悪くなる事が有りますから。動き過ぎやブレ過ぎると。それが全て無くて卓越してみえますので、気分良く、優雅な気持ちで見れますので、感激が多いのだと思います。 ローズ組が2年時でperformance＆dance＆stepも刻々と↑完成度が増してますね。xylophoneサンは、相変わらずの満面の笑みで(^.^) ク◯◯さん特集みたいでしたね2016 ブルーメ!!笑

トロンボーンは息のふきかたと先端の管の合わせ技ですよね。 どちらも難易度が高いですが、管を前に出す量は腕のピッチがないと中途半端になってしまうと思いますが、思いっきり腕を伸ばす音があってそれだけでも大変なのに橘はこれに激しいダンスがあるのに、周りに当たる事なく上手くかわしながら超絶笑顔で演奏演技できるってやっぱり凄いですね(⌒▽⌒)

🍊115期生について🍊 ・2016年4月某日、オレンジの悪魔高校に入学しました。この年の夏休み、2,3年生の先輩方とハワイ (カウアイ島だったっけ？)に遠征して演奏しました。 ・2017年末から2018年初頭にかけ、米国加州 (アメリカカリフォルニア州)のパサデナ市へローズパレード出場のため遠征しました。 ・2018年3月、116期生と京都さくらパレードに出ました。田中先生とはこれでお別れです。そのせいかどうか分かりませんが、この期の部員さんたちは部長 (アロロさん)以下DM (オカツェルさん)、副部長 (チルクさん他1名)を中心に実に団結力がありましたね。 卒業後の o-vilsの初期メンバーを見れば納得です。
