kyoto has been on my bucket list for a long time XD ; everything looked so good, reminds me of living in hawaii and all of the great asian hybrid cuisine there , so much great ramen/curry/noodles/rice/dumplings/etc ; i got this seafood broth soup w/ spinach dumplings stuffed with fish once, omfg it was amazingly delicious , its been like 15-20 years and i still remember how good the food was

Wow I got to say that soup looks very oishi by any chance is that miso soup because if it is is it white or red miso oh my goodness it truly goes perfectly well with the tonkatsu pork cutlet all together this meal really comes through and shines on as one incredible dish fit For A King A feast for the ages So Beautiful. 👍😎
I'd be lying if I said I wasnt about to cook some of this stuff for dinner now lol I already cook Katsudon but I definitely wanna try putting the egg/broth mix on top instead

That's what I'm doing next time I make Katsudon: leave the crispy fried pork cutlet out of the dashi-onion broth! There's no point in making an awesome tonkatsu and then drowning the crispiness away before serving.

Excellent fried rice preparation ---I couldn't take the whole dish---too much for me. I can only share with my wife. But food looks great. If I ever go to Kyoto, I will visit this place religiously.
