Thats wild how they all move their heads the same way. This is so perfect.

Great, majestic tempo ! _Allegro Maestoso_ is perfect. Nicely memorized; Everyone was in sync following the conductor, not buried in the score. Beautiful dynamics, too ( expressive changes in volume ) ! ~asr~

I'm sorry but that is YOUR stereotyped, typicalized view. I've met Mr Kobayashi (the conductor in this video) a few times already and he never treats his students like machines. Swaying and synchronizing their movements is a part of performance aesthetics; it augments the feel and emphasizes the sway of the song, and shows the audience that the orchestra is following the conductor very closely. To the players, it is already a natural thing to do.

This is really awesome. Hope to play with you one day ! from Singapore Kevin
Moving their heads and bodies is part of the training in Japanese style guitar orchestras. I have been trained in one of those. It's awful. They treat people like machine. I don't recommend such kind of training no matter how good they play!!! Play music the natural way!!!
