I got the intense and didn’t care for it at first but wanted to try it. Baby I had people stopping me and asking me what I had on. A guy followed me to my job to ask me. It stayed on my clothes and the next day i still smelled it. I love it now after it set.

I recently went to Sephora and tried the Intense version and walked around a little bit and tried the OG and immediately bought the OG in the biggest bottle. I bought the biggest bottle of the OG when it came out. And you're right, it is signature scent worthy. I remember immediately text my friend saying just that. And it layers well with so many scents. 😊

For me when I smelled the intense, it was love at first sight or love at first. The way you feel about the intense is the way I felt about the original. I think it’s more body chemistry than anything because when I sprayed the intense, I got a strong vanilla.

Yes body chemistry for sure on this one. People seem to be getting polar opposite experiences lol. I think the Libre Intense was the same on my skin. I was not getting any of the sweet vanilla so many people got!

I finally smelled it. Mann I love it. It gives me YSL libre intense vibes. It’s going to be my next purchase!! That extra note just makes it stronger and sweeter to me! I didn’t realize how good it was until I sprayed it on my wrist 😅😅 love it. If somebody doesn’t want theirs send it my way! lol

I am a huge lover of the original Goddess. I have never vibed with the Libre line. Think I’m going to pass. May try a spritz if I’m in store, but definitely not blind buying. Thanks for the review ❤

I love Vanilla, been wearing Vanilla oils since the 90s ,I usually don't like alot of perfumes and didn't like this at first spray, then I wore all day and bought the 1.7 bottle, saturday, it stays on skin 8+ hours and clothes, literally for days,I haven't gotten any compliments on it yet, If that's what yall are looking for,I don't base what perfume I'm gonna wear, on how many other people like it or if I get compliments on it, I don't know why that's important to people!!! I didn't like something about the original and I'm not a pachuli fan, but it's not bad and only made a brief appearance!

Goddess just dropped in Dubai, litetally 2 months ago. Here it's called "Burberry Gold". For me it's a lighter, airier version of Mon Guerlain Intense. If the lavender is more potent in the Goddess Intense that gives me pause. I'm not the biggest fan of the note. Will definitely have to try first whenever it drops here in Dubai.

I tried Burberry Gold in DXB back in June (thinking it was the middle eastern appropriate version if Goddess) but hatttted it and was shocked that all the perfume reviewers I have similar taste to were raving about it. On the same trip, less than a week later, I tried Burberry Goddess in Sephora in Thailand and LOVED it and immediately purchased it. So I now think Burberry Goddess and Burberry Gold aren’t the same despite the packaging being the same.

I’m LATE!!!! ⏰ 😅 I just tried Burberry Goddess sample and the DRYYYY DOWN sent me to heaven ❤❤ I went and bought the original last night BIG BOTTLE. 🎉 now there’s an intense…. 😪 thank you for doing the Lords work! Now I don’t need to rush into trying intense. The original goddess is very well balanced and easy to wear for all woman even the woman who don’t like vanilla or even gourmand. This scent is truly an intense! I am not an oversprayed user , I live in quite a cold weather country and I my skin temp runs rather cold, I have a true strong vanilla scent after lavender note gone. I got a full bottle of 100 ml of this one and I hope you would give it another try when you are in an airconed room, and maybe dab it , you might bbe able to enjoy the scent? Ps: I hate YSL libre but this Burberry is giving Lush American Cream but it’s incomparable 😅😅😅

You don’t feel lavender after a few minutes in the intense version. It’s straight vanilla in the dry down

Spot on review Sharida! I have this fragrance and you're right that it is Lavender forward. The lavender is consistent throughout the entire wear of the fragrance and I do not prefer that. I also do not like the opening at all but the dry down is not bad I do enjoy it. I will say that It is disappointing because I expected a heavier dose of vanilla but I don't get that, definitely giving a Libre vibe also a little bit of Muggler.

This was the letdown of 2024 for me. I waited months for this to come out!! I am not a fan of the Libre scent profile, and Goddess Intense is very similar to that. There is something very cloying to me in the profile. I will just wait for them to release a true Goddess flanker.

It’s weird but I hate all Libre line but fell in love with Goddess intense. Lavender disappears on my skin after a few minutes and the dry down reminds more Vanilla 28 but more refined and expensive. I don’t see similarities with Libre 😊

I have not tried the intense but I think I’ll purchase the travel size. The OG is amazing. I have a full size bottle of the OG and I always get compliments on it. I wore it to baskin Robbin’s the other day and the guy goes “what perfume is that?” He said he could smell it as soon as I walked in lol

I didn't have the same experience. Yes, the lavender was a little stronger, but nothng like a cleaning product or room spray. I smelled a lot of woody vanilla on my skin which I liked. It was definitely intense. I don't like Libre at all, but this Intense is ok to me. I still prefer the OG so won't be picking it up.

I was excited for this one and almost blind bought the travel size. But I ended up trying in store and I hated it. The lavender is way too astringent on me and I hated it. Okay. Goddess og is a fave of mine. Finally got to a Sephora and spritzed in two areas. Ffs I thought I was crazy and smelled B.O., asked my daughter to smell, she said ew it smells like B.O.😂 confirmed haha. But, but…as it dried then it was so good, like an hour later though. I think I need it, just have to wait to be around anyone for an hour lol.

I been playing with the original BG & when I go into the store I always test it out.. oh no! I am not a fan of lavender, I feel like it was almost unnoticeable in original and was looking forward to it. Have you tried Born in Roma Gold? that one looks promising. Also Gucci Gorgeous Orchid is very nice release, reminiscent of Goddess original. Also I want to try Angel Fantasm. Designers got me excited, can't believe it :D

I haven't tried either! I will go downtown and try them! I also dislike the Libres EXCEPT Le Parfum- although I don't own it. I love MonGuerlain and the Intense, so I am curious to smell them. I have quit collecting during the past year. Actually I have gone back to Channel #5 but VINTAGE is where it's at! The fragrance was RUINED in 2011 and you young uns who dis it make me so sad. The aldehydes were Coco's sense of humor- too much- but they disappear. In the end there is something animatic which lingers and makes the most ELEGANT and SEXY smell- no wonder I wore it for thirty years exclusively. But it is a shadow of its former self and I really don't enjoy my 2020 bottle either. I am wearing a 1980's EDC and guess what? Even though the top notes have turned it's STILL GORGEOUS.

To me this is a slightly richer, deeper more vanillic take on the original. I don't get more lavender on my skin and I don't pick up on the added patchouli either. I do find it to be a stronger and louder scent than the original but not longer lasting. I also prefer it to the original as there is something in that one that grates on me. That being said, I don't think I will be buying a full bottle unfortunately.

I was so disappointed with Intense. I got a sample, and in the first 30 minutes, I was ready for a full bottle. THENN it dried down to a sharp piney smell that had no softness whatsoever. I like the original though, but I prefer a more gourmand vanilla.

So disappointed on the Intense. At first, I was like nope, it smells just like the dark yellow juice.. At the dry down it looks a little more closer to the original. But then what's the point. To my mind, it is not worthy and way too strong, not a fan of patchouli so might be it or might be the lavender or the excess of both
