Omg I got a bottle of burberry intense as a gift and omg it makes my stomach turn- especially when you spray like a few sprays on- not too bad when you just spray a bit on your hand to smell...but the original is a love!!!

Yes! That happens to me too with the intense, some days it’s way too thick and like syrupy on my skin so I didn’t buy the full size of that one. The original her is perfect on my skin. 🥰❤️

Burberry her OG is one of my favs to wear alone and layering as well. I’ve layered it with Lancôme idole and Donna born in Roma. I know you can’t bear the pink pepper in Donna but Burberry her toned down that sharp pink pepper and made it sweeter!

I've always wanted to try Burberry Her, but I'm constantly on the fence. I don't like anything artificially scented or flavored strawberry. I'm worried that because of that, it just wouldn't be for me.

This one would probably be safer to try a sample of. I don’t think the strawberry is too artificial and I like the airy feeling this fragrance has but it’s definitely safer to sample it first. 🥰❤️

Burberry herr is a must have. Its smells like a strawberry milkshake but somehow isnt sweet or candylike. Its very sophisticated yet feminine. Just Amazing. Hands down my favorite.

I prefer the EDT, but I’m prone to migraine so I like the toned down scent. The EDT her blossom is so good. The green EDT with pear is also very good.

The intense is less strawberry. More for adults, not children. A Cherry note is also present.

I had the same exact experience.. but when I smelled the sample this time it was much better. I still can’t tolerate too much benzoin so I’m not sure if I’ll ever own the full bottle of that one. It was much better the second time I tried it for sure though. 🥰

I just want something that doesn’t give me a headache and smells sweet and or clean (I love Salt Air). I love vanilla but not Bath & Body Works warm vanilla sugar. What about benzoin that you don’t like? Does it repel people? Every time I hear pink pepper I think of Glossier You - curious how they compare. What do you think of the Elixir?

Benzoin can sometimes smell almost thick to my nose like sweet but medicinal at the same time and it gets cloying super fast. Some people absolutely love it and don’t find it off putting at all. ☺️ I love the elixir, I didn’t go crazy over it in the beginning but with time I am loving it more and more and it is more syrupy than the original her and less fluffy and Powdery. ☺️

Yea I don’t think it’s a dupe either. I personally have tried dupe houses that have gotten almost spot on (I think I’m going to do a video on that soon 🤔😂) but her intense isn’t a dupe to my nose. ☺️

I have a review up for the elixir but since that review I let it sit longer in my collection and I ended up loving it so much more than when I first got it. It’s not as fluffy and powdery as the original and more syrupy but not cloying. ☺️
