Thank you for reviewing the Guerlain foundation. I can't tell the difference between the two foundations on you with the blush, etc. However, when you showed the video after applying the foundation I think the Guerlain looks better on you and I do agree it has a better shade range. I think I might be interested in the Guerlain foundation. I might also compare this foundation to the Haus Labs foundation since this provides medium coverage as well. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. :)

Wow, i cannot choose dear Chels, which side of your face, which foundation, you look absolutely fabulous!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Thanks for all the explanation too!!!!!!!!! Burberry, their British website says, no delivery of this foundation to The Netherlands. Maybe they would, i would order by phone, which i did when i ordered their beautiful eyeshadow palette last November/December, was not possible to order online than, but the lady was very friendly and helpful! But sometimes, also at companies who deliver makeup to The Netherlands from the UK like business as usual, it can be a problem, with a primer or a foundation, hazardous, the Dutch government could make problems they say than. I don't know, it can also be the Brexit. Since Brexit everything goes more slow, has to be in customs longer when it comes into the country from the UK. So that primer, yes it was a primer, i ordered it at Niche Beauty Germany, no fuss, European Union, wonderful company as well!!! The Guerlain, not sure yet also. I still have many foundations and something has to be really special and good for sensitive skin. What actually really irritates me, that these companies have such a slow learning curve with shades Chels: ALL MAKEUP COMPANIES, MAKE AT LEAST AS MUCH SHADES FOR GORGEOUS DEEPER COMPLEXIONS, LIKE FOR MY DEAR FRIEND CHELSEA, AS YOU DO FOR ME, WITH LIGHTER SKIN, THIS IS SO, SO, SO NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they read this, as it irritates me soooooooo much every time again, they learn to slow, it is, yes it is 2023 now, what a bloody shame. Great comparison video, Chelsea! I think the Guerlain looks better. Could be the better shade match but it just looks prettier on your skin overall. I can't wait to pick it up during the Sephora sale. The shade range for the Burberry is abysmal and it does seem that the actual shades in the Guerlain run deeper than the models that are used in the photos.

Guerlain definitely runs deeper. I got 2 shades lighter than I would normally. So anyone very pale wouldn't be able to use it

This was helpful for color matching. I’m worried about your statement that your skin produced more oils. That happened to me with the pat mcgrath foundation so I didn’t buy it. I think that means it dries the skin out -it could be the alcohol/fragrance. I’d want to try a sample if possible. Overall an informative video thanks Chels! I hated/ wasn’t interested in the foundations of 2022 so I’m looking forward to what 2023 has to offer.

Interesting take on the Guerlain. When you applied it in the video, it reminded me of Estée Lauder foundation, which is very heavy to me. I loved the Burberry foundation on you. It looked bright and fresh, while the Guerlain appeared more matte, like a foundation you would use for a photo shoot or special occasion…

I have never liked Double Wear but there is something very nice about the Guerlain, it doesn’t accentuate my texture or lines even though it is semi matte, maybe I got a good shade match that does help.

The 4N looks great on you. 4w would be too dark. I like the guerlain on you. I am surprised it didn’t oxidize on you. 4w oxidized a lot on me.

The guerlain is not working for me at all. It always looks heavy on me and sinks into bigger pore areas on me. I keep trying to make it work with no luck unfortunately

I am older and have never had so many compliments on my makeup as I’m having with the Guerlaine i chose a slightly paler shade to,combat the oxidation and it is perfect. I put it on with the BK101 brush and only one pump for the whole face. I have dry skin. I can get full coverage with another half pump where needed.
