What was Burda thinking? Everything is so sad looking. Except for maybe those bell shaped pants. But the rest? granny style 😔I can’t wait to watch your review and hear your opinion on this issue.

I feel like the last 2 years everything is baggy potato-sack looking in Burda. Idk, I love the 90s and mid 2010s the most, very structured and well-thought patterns. I love the pants in this issue tho!

@@Lesllieful I think it is the home-sewer fitting issue that has pushed pattern companies towards droopy/baggy looks. What we really need is more custom cup sizes. I find that one alteration to fix 80% of what doesn't work. If you aren't a standard B cup then everything else fails.

And with the amazing drafting software available, why DON'T we have custom cup sizing as an automatic. Perhaps as the industry trends more to pdf patterns, this will become available.

In general, I think in the last 2 years (since coronovirus) Burda has simply selected a lot of patterns from previous years. Burda, like all companies, must have had staff shortages and other staff problems. This August issue is great....if you do not have many past years' issues already. Burda is great value for money at all times. Thanks for posting!

Hila, let them know after seeing this issue I will not subscribe next year. Too many copies of already issued patterns. Some alterations but really bad looking ones. What are we paying for? I already have most of the patterns in previous issue. Will definitely stop subscribing! This negative vides are for burda. Love you hila as always and thanks for sharing!

Сейчас пожалуй более актуальны платья в восточном стиле Свободные ,летящие,с завышенной талией и каскадом валанов .Они пришлииз "" немодных"" стран. ИзУзбекистана, Таджикистана . Платья излегкой хлопклвой ткани. Пестрые и удобные как на работе так ив путешествии. Такие же брюки и блузы. Имы приняли эту моду! Так какжара призываетноситьименно легкую хлопковую одежду! А Бурда с ее неточными выкройками отходит уже в прошлое

What happened? A lot of the outfits just don't fit and the models are standing in odd, twisty, arms akimbo positions which always make me suspicious. The Plus section is the worst I have ever seen. Sometimes I wonder if it just comes down to creative talent available .. the creative director, pattern drafters, designers. We had some lovely issues in the spring but Burda definitely hit a wall with this one in my opinion.
