BurgeraX: Drive [Progressive House]

Song 2/5 in the Emotions EP
For my English project, we are supposed to find 5 different songs that match the emotional side of the play Romeo and Juliet. We are then supposed to write about the song on what part of the play you think it fits for, why you think it fits, and why you chose that song for that specific part. Instead, I decided to create 5 songs for this project, and create on certain emotions.
This emotion is Happy.
Ignore this part unless you're my English teacher
I chose to make this song for Act 2, Scene 2. This is the scene where Romeo creeps up on Juliet and listens to her daydream about him on the balcony. This part of the play is a happy type mood, and again, I have created a happy style song to match that scene. I think this song fits this scene because Romeo and Juliet just have their hearts racing about each other, and the emotions of them both fits this song and it works quite nicely.

The melody in this is amazing! The mix feels a bit muddy at first to me, but that gets cleared up shortly after, also I'm tired so my perception is probably altered. The drops in this have the same problems as in Stray. They feel underwhelming. Maybe stack more impacts and rides. I think your lead could use more layers, but overall I enjoyed this one as much, if not more than Stray. Also, the key changes are done in an incredible way. Good job :)

This one is probably my favourite, but all the tracks in this EP are amazing nevertheless! Love that each of them is a different genre and they really portray the emotions you were going for, well done BurgeraX :) (You better get an A+ on this project)
