I met Burial at Amnesia bar in San Francisco (the band that night was called "the family folk explosion") and we talked about music for almost an hour. He encouraged me to keep experimenting with beats and sound after having explained that he was a dj . It suprised me at the time in my nievete that another techno bass beat hip hop edm guy was at a folk rolk show.... (Shows how much I knew) Then i asked him what his dj name was at the end and he said BURIAL ! I was flabbergasted. We're still friends on Facebook but I've never spoken to him or seen him again.
