Burkina Faso New International Airport Near Completion - Biggest Bank Nationalized

The long-awaited Donsin International Airport project in Burkina Faso is finally nearing completion, marking a significant milestone in the country's infrastructure development. On May 21, 2024 the Donsin International Airport project developer organized a press visit to the construction site, allowing journalists and public speakers to witness the progress firsthand. The visit showcased the nearly complete runway and taxiways, as well as the advanced stages of the aircraft parking areas and supporting infrastructure.
During the visit, project officials highlighted the modern technologies and construction techniques being employed to ensure the airport meets international standards. Designed to handle large international flights and cater to a growing number of passengers, the new airport reflects Burkina Faso's ambition to become a significant player in regional and international aviation.
As the Donsin Airport project nears completion, Burkina Faso stands on the cusp of a new era in air travel and economic development. The project's successful realization will not only transform the country's aviation landscape but also serve as a testament to the resilience and determination of its leadership and people.
In other significant news, on May 22, the Burkinabe government announced a major shift in its banking sector with the nationalization of the Commercial Bank of Burkina (BCB). This decision, formalized through a decree issued at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, marks a pivotal moment in the country’s financial landscape as the state assumes full ownership and control of a bank that has been a joint venture between the Burkinabe State and the Libyan Arab Bank for over four decades. This nationalization is seen as a necessary step to safeguard the bank’s future and ensure it can effectively contribute to Burkina Faso's economic development.

So many people are angry especially a lot of presidents in Africa they are so used to having an abundance of women an abundance of money and whatever else they want. That puts a strain on that particular country's economy and the people end up suffering. I'm so glad that Ibrahim Treore is leading the way. You can tell how a president cares about their country and its fellow countrymen and women. All you have to do is look at their conditions. We're not talking about a shiny new city within that country that looks good we're talking about every area looks good every area is flourishing. So many African governments a corrupt and people never get Justice women and children are being hurt in victimized by their systems. This must stop. If you allow people to come in and misuse your women and children and infect them then your whole continent becomes infected. Infections like drug addiction, s intercourse addiction. All of these things promote diseases and diseases wipe out countries. I love this man. I love everything he stands for I can't wait to meet him. Well at least I hope to get to meet this young man. So I say to all the presidents of the continent if you ain't on board you're going to fail. We are speaking life and prosperity and determination into Burkina Faso and its leaders because Ibrahim Traore cares about the people. Not just Burkina Faso all of Africa so get on board y'all. Stop sitting there with your old vintage ideas thinking that you know everything because you don't, it shows by the conditions that people live in. I never said every area of Africa has to be modernized with sidewalks and cement buildings and everything like that but at least the people should live in comfort have air condition or have houses that keep them from suffering from the different types of weather that you have there.
