I absolutely love how Strike KIng didn’t even try to modify the Magdraft that they clearly copied 100% from Megabass!
@bighashgang19902 ай бұрын
That's all icast is these days lol it's just a big copy fest where the big guys showcase all the shit they copied from the little guys who are actually producing innovative shit, lots of bait makers pulled out of icast and they don't even attend anymore for this exact reason
@GFWoodchuck2 ай бұрын
You say that like the Magdraft isn't a copy of the 500 swimbaits that came before it.

I wssnt impressed with icast this year but it was better than last years from what ive seen. Of course theres really no super innovative lures these days lol they are more takes on old baits or just simply jdm copies from a US market brand lol
@troyrussell1772 ай бұрын
Have you seen that bait ball? I forget whats it’s called but it’s this sphere with tentacles like a jig but around the bait 360 degrees. I probably won’t see it on this but ima put you on game right here… Geecrack bellows gill. It’s not a super innovative lure , but it’s very close to that. I’ve been KILLING it on them. They hit it on the swim, it must perfectly mimic a blue gill. Try em out.
@troyrussell1772 ай бұрын
Man I already regret telling you about the bellows gill😂 I don’t want them to blow up but they’re going too 😂 they’re fire.

@@troyrussell177 nit impressed with bellows gill either and especially elastomer (tpe) material ones that's already been done too lol. Btw no worries it's been all over the internet for a couple years about the gill lol. What's not out there as much is the fact Thunderhawk maid a elastomer version last year or the year before lol. Gee crack is just trying to play catch up 😂. The cubes and balls with silicon skirt material don't impress me either and they are very conditional fish catchers lol.

@@blind_eye_fishing to each their own. Funny you say that though, cause I just caught a New Jersey 6 pounder at 5:50 this morning🤣. Caught it On a Texas rigged bellows gill. I think they’re fire here cause the big bass eat Sunnies. We have shad, but only in the bigger bodies of water/the main rivers.. I was fishing a pond that only has bass and brim, and a couple crappies. And man a 6 pounder here🤷 , that’s like a 10+ down south. The bass don’t have all year to grow here. 6 in big here. I haven’t caught a 6 in the last like 3 years🤣👏
@blind_eye_fishing2 ай бұрын
@@troyrussell177 I've caught multiple 5 and 6s in just a months time lol. The main forage where i fish is sunfish (bluegill, green sunfish, long ear, ect) but that bait still don't impress me much. Btw there was baits out that was similar long before that one lol that's why it don't impress me much. All they did was make the body more rippled. The others had more solid bodies with small ripped or no ripples in them. Being around as long as I have been it takes a real innovative lure to impress me because I'm familiar with the US market dating back to the 20s and Japanese I'm now familiar with it back to the Early 2000s when bass fishing starting growing on popularity in Japan lol. I may not know it all but I've seen most and I can say most things the last few years at icast have been copies, remakes, slight changes to other baits, and or straight up jdm theft by a US market company lol. That's why I'm not impressed, the ones that caught my eye some have had issues so they didn't impress in real life on the water testing. I was actually more impress by 6th senses panorama with its realistic look over the gee crack bellows gill lol. But both had durability issues as well so lost all impressive aspects 😂😂. The new gill material don't impress because it's already been done lol.
