@@Allthegoodhandlesaretakenlmao i discovered some time ago that the trick is try things. Take things you never use and try to force yourself to use them. Just try to put it anywhere. Even when it looks stupid to do it. Just try it. Some times you'll say "oh thats shit" and you'll delete it right away. But others, you'll say "Oh, and what happens if now i put this there?" And all of a sudden you've built the whole facade of a building with an intricate design including many different parts just because you were wondering at the beginning what would happen if you put a row of windows on your box factory's first floor

@@Allthegoodhandlesaretakenlmao Honestly this power plant is mostly just wide open spaces and a semi-circular shape. And you can use the "beams" in free form mode to make "round" shapes. So while it's still highly impressive, it's not even THAT difficult to make. Just...a LOT of open space and a LOT of time to make those round shapes.
@alvaroluffy15 күн бұрын
@@Allthegoodhandlesaretakenlmao good, im glad of that. Remember always try something new, something weird, anything that wouldnt normally pass through your mental connections. Use the power of clipping objects, it may look messy or mediocre to some people, but doing it gives amazing results. For example right now im making a train station and im clipping walls on one side of the station so it looks more solid and robust when its enclosed inside a building. I even take advantage of the little door holes of the train station, those doors are ones that i cant make anywhere i want, they are exclusive to the train station building, so i use them to give the place a more "unique" look if that makes sense

An incredible design incorporated into the very land itself, and actually captivates the beauty of the scenery, making the whole architectural design a part of the world. Not apart from it. Elegant. Hilariously ridiculous premise, beautiful execution. Thank you. Some of the slow camera movements early in the video seem to stutter a bit (1:20 - 2:12) compared to the later sections. Very strange that the timelapse appeared less fluid than the much more graphically complex final showcase's realtime footage.

I'm seeing 6 groups of 128 coal generators, which would burn 11,520 coal/min or if fully overclocked 28,800 coal/min, however, the map provides 30,900 coal/min. It's close but definitely not using all the coal on the map. Are you losing the rest to train inefficiencies, or did you miss a few nodes?
@game0000lab2 ай бұрын
That's correct. Of the 30,900 coal/min, 28,800 coal/min is used and the remaining coal is collected at the small station in the center at 0:26 of the video. There was a plan to burn 28,800 coal/min and expand further, but it was canceled because adding a small process would change the appearance.

@roberthlawekiii67313 ай бұрын
A monumental build, I have achieved only a fraction of this power. The aesthetic is certainly worth the loss of power in Return on Investment! *Edit:* Coal has the best ROI at 88.7%, early to mid game its your best choice by far, the only runner up is if you were to commit everything to fuel and burn it for power, an option you wont have early on. Petroleum coke is a no go, bringing up the rear with a 61.3% power ROI. The amount of machines you have to keep running for each stage of refinement takes away from the overall capacity! *P.S.* I haven't run the math for compacted coal, but that's a sulfuric acid opportunity cost!
