Yep with their character building especially. You will get to know someone in less than 5 minutes and then they keep adding depth.

Ha 27:30 decoy truck out the parking lot runs through spike trap and runs into black Vic. But how do they get out on that yellow Corvette with out tripping the spikes and blowing there tires? When the truck rammed the Vic it had already passed the spikes, Soo even in theory if the truck was meant to startle the spikes on crash impact which "it did", it still wouldn't add up which explains why they cut that part out. Lol still I love this show 1 of my faves👍

"It was good playing with you sport" will always stick with me. Victor lets go of everything he was fighting for at the moment just to say kind words to Michael before he knew what would happen.

Victor's death was where I was 100% invested in Michael's mission to bring the Organization down.
@persaunna Жыл бұрын
Same. I was actually mad they killed him off the show, and I really thought that Michael had learned from Victor that it didn't matter who burned him, or who "they" were, or why, and that his crusade to "get back in" would be over. Irritated that he never really learned it.

@@persaunna That's why I'm not a fan of seasons 5 - 7. I like the idea of Michael managing to get back in with the CIA but I wanted to see him have issues with the red-tape and political side, making him miss when he did 'jobs' with Fi and Sam that didn't restrict him from helping others. Even how they rushed the dismantling of the Organization in the 5th season felt wrong. It should have been a full season or at least half a season storyline, not just one episode. I'd have to imagine that budget got in the way, but they could have gotten around it.
@persaunna Жыл бұрын
@tjjordan4207 Wasn't there a writers strike right around then? I'm think it affected A LOT of shows that suddenly too-quickly wrapped up an established storyline and went in another, crazier direction. But I agree, to an extent. I didn't like the rush through that. I. Didn't like how Jesse went from basically wanting to kill whoever burned him to deciding to go work a day job and best friend to Michael. Etc ... anyway I agree with much of what you said.
@tjjordan4207 Жыл бұрын
@@persaunna That writers strike happened from November of 2007 to February of 2008, while Season 5 of Burn Notice aired in the summer of 2011, so it had no effect on it. Although, that writers strike did happen between the first and second seasons of Burn Notice, but the two seasons were so far apart (in terms of airing) that the strike had little to no impact because by the time season 2 aired it had plenty of months in the aftermath to have scripts written. On the subject of Jesse, I'm kinda mixed on how they should have handled his storyline. Personally, I would have had Michael approach him and reveal that he accidentally 'burned' him just to get that out of the way, because the whole "we gotta keep it from him" was just boring. That way we could get something more interesting in the two men reluctantly working together, while also gaining respect for one another. I didn't mind Jesse deciding to leave the intelligence agency despite being cleared of his burn notice, I didn't like how it was just brushed over in Season 5. I would have liked to have seen him go back to his job, only to realize how much he had changed and began to wonder if he was truly doing what he loved, leading to him to leave and begin his own business, one that could have helped in getting Michael, Fi, and Sam more 'jobs'.

They very gradually developed her character through all the seasons, so much so it would otherwise have to have been “some ex-spy’s” actual experience with his mother. It’s actually quite an amazing transition the writers (and actors) did with the storyline and her place in it all the way up to .... (I won’t spoil it.)

In the final minutes of the first episode of season 4, Maddy confronts her son over her being arrested and interrogated by the FBI and all the things he did whilst capturing Simon. Michael spends the entire night up with his mom talking about his life, from when he left his family to join the army, meeting Sam and Fiona, right until his burn notice and everything since.

Lol you'd think that they would respond to gun shots right 😂 Although, a few years ago a man began screaming"help please someone help me. Call 911. Shes going to kill me" at like 1am in a safe suburb. My spouse literally, at first, thought it was screaming in the background of a video we were watching on youtube(which made no sense) but we finally realized it was coming from outside. It ended up being a man who lived on the next block over. Somehow I was the first person to call 911. Ive seen neighbors call the cops for loud music past 9pm but this man was screaming so loudly i could hear him from inside my house, with all the windows and doors closed, a block away and nobody on his street called or reacted in any way😂😬

Wait a minute! Supposedly, you have all of these folks saying they've been burned. Yet, how is it that in some cases ( Carla, for example ) they live ostentatiously?
@mickfunny41853 жыл бұрын
@smoothjazzaxe when you’re burned you’ve got nothing, no cash, no credit, no job history. You’re stuck in whatever city they decide to dump you in. Well clearly Carla is a burned spy, but she also has agreed to work for Management, and as Victor explains, she has been running her own black ops jobs Management doesn’t know about to enrich herself. Meanwhile independent burned spy Michael Weston lives in a crummy loft and eats yogurt.
