Let's not forget that due to inequality we also have Africans who were born in the diaspora - personally I've only started seeing them have more pride in their roots now more than ever. I am from the multi island nation of St .Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean where the British exiled King Jaja of Opobo. The Super Eagles have always been my FAVORITE African team. Moreover, my favorite book of all time is "Things Fall Apart" by the late great Chinua Achebe. I was even drawn to Afrobeat and Fela. I said all that to say this, before I took my African DNA test, I said that the result is going to be some connection to Nigeria. When I got the result back, I just smiled. I smiled even bigger because of what it said.
