As an African (American), Afrobeats does something to me. my body cant stay still when I listen 😂 I guess it’s ancestral. It’s in our blood. I love the culture we’ve created for ourselves here in America but I can’t help but feel so much closer to our forefathers & our ancestral land when hearing Afrobeats. It’s the most authentic and moving sound I’ve ever heard . . . I can’t explain it. We’ve been removed from Africa for 400+ years, and somehow I can still feel the spirit of my people. Reconnecting to my people and my roots makes me feel so . . . Whole. Like we, as AAs, aren’t alone anymore. I guess we never were, and we’re just taught to believe that. Isolation is the first act of an abuser. For so long we’ve been told we were alone in the world without family, without lineage, without land to go back to, etc. . . I get emotional about it every time . 🤦🏽‍♀️ so glad that We know better now. much love from Baltimore 💕✌🏾 Edit: wow I wasn’t expecting such an outpouring of love. Again, this is another example of the lies we’ve been taught . In these comments I see nothing but kind and welcoming responses by other Africans in the diaspora. Yet, there’s always been a stigma that AAs don’t like continental Africans and Vice versa. Don’t believe the hype 🗣 they’d hate to see us unify so they spread lies . Love you all SO much and thank you for receiving my words with such an open heart ♥️🖤💚

Actually its LITERALLY *Nothing!!!* Not ONLY are you NOT b-LACK (nor is ANYone) besides it meaning *"DEATH"* BLAck literally meant BLAnk which is the *ABSCENCE of substance!!!* Would you say: "This *BLAnd* food taste like EVERYthing???" "This *BLeached* out pair of jeans is EVERYthing??" "These *BLonde* bangs I have are EVERYthing??" *Peep this:* BLAck, BLAnk, BLAnche, BLeach, BLAnd, BLonde are ALL the SAME exact word!! They *mean: "To take AWAY/REMOVE or... the ABSCENCE of substance, flavor, color etc.* Like MOST things dealing with MAINSTREAM education/knowledge/curriculum it was FLIPPED on its HEAD & completely REVERSED!! The world *"White"* has absolutely NOTHING to do wiht any color or the shade of this screen in the backround we are looking at!! It *MEANT: Pure, Free, Sovereign"!!* So do you see WHY you would give one term & word to a specific group during a specific time & the OTHER word/term to another group at a specific time??? If your enslaving people under the premise that they are NOT fully capable, NOT fully respectable beings, NOT equal, etc. then to claim that one group is "DEAD, Dying Off, Rotten, & ALSO Blank & Absent of ANY Substance ALL WHILE saying the OTHER GROUP is: Pure, Free, & Sovereign then it makes a Little SENSE... right??? (Im talking): As far as the terms NOT, actually believing the GOOFY notion of one group being any sorts of Better than the next!! So these are the GAMES that were Played! I encourage any1 to Learn what these things mean & to NOT con'tinue *PLAY* (and BE PLAYED) on the "Black & White" *chessboard* in which you NEVER win & only get USED like a "pawn"! Now if you want to say being MOReno/MORena is EVERYthing Kool/DOPE!!! U can say being a highly melanated person is EVERYthing Kool/Dope (actually I would still say that this is not the most Accurate statement because Everything is... Everything=ALL) How could one's "Ethnicity" be EVERYthing... that's pretty LIMITED (but/however, I DO GET IT because it is purposely being forcefully MADE to look/appear like it is a BIGGER thing than what it is)!! Identifying yourSELF with outside made-up/CON'structed terminologies is pretty dangerous!! I do know that this type of thinking is a somewhat Normal thing when talking about MASS behavior. I would like say: *"Have PRIDE"* which is: - BEAUFTIFUL - Powerful - Positive - Amazing - Etc. I LOVE IT! When we wave our flags & have Pride but, when we go too DEEP and began to Turn these Flags & Identifications into Boundaries they are just that: - Boundaries - Barriers - Road Blocks - Isolation points - Etc. ALL Love/Amor = A MOOR!! You want to be/b-MORE NOT b-LESS or b-LACK
@WiseDaGod777
@WiseDaGod777 5 жыл бұрын
*Charles Brown* I understand bro, in my comment it says that I KNOW & fathom what she is saying & also WHY she is saying that... due to masses (majority of people) have a so-called "NORM". Meaning we ALL "do & say" A lot of the SAME things. Its somewhat easy to have an understanding of what the average person says because it comes from the same life that I (me or you or ANY1) lives! What I was touching upon was the fact that not only that's a *"Non-Beneficial" term* but, ALSO the fact that even if someone uses a proper term that the fact of *highlighting* ones SELF through a system of Divisionary labels like Ethnicity, Religion, Or even the Amount of Fat ratio on One's body etc. is psychologically a dangerous thing to do! It actually IS that deep (this specific dynamic of what im saying)!! If we were dealing in whether someone says: Po-tay-too OR Po-tahh-too then... *NOooo* its NOT that big if a deal! However , if you really read what it is I was & still am saying it is a SERIOUS thing!! I was NOT trying to COME AT the woman/lady (or whoever) avatar that I did! I just used her comment as a basis for a specific topic that I see is EMERGING strongly in the MOReno community (so-called FALSELY called) b-LACK community.... *which is:* Your physical Identity overwhelmingly becoming the "end ALL be ALL" Due to this dynamic being SUBconsciously, SUBliminally, & SUBtly slipped into EVERYTHING you/we see. Just by BASIC "psyche programming" standards this would *OF COURSE* become EVERYTHING to EVERYONE!!! My comment is just touching upon this being NO BUENO/NO Good and, a SCARY thing for people! I say this and make this comment NOT to make any1 feel bad (as u can see in my comments) I have ZERO amount of greasy/slick talk & I am NOT trying to be MEAN be an asshole (which happens all to OFTEN in "comment sections"). I seriously just said what I said just to drop & plant a little jewel in whoever mind that read it!! We are NOT these limited terms that they (Ruling Class) give us! They (ruling class) do that shit for us to stay retarded & perpetuate poor behaviors that do NOT benefit us! In a saddened/depressed & just us NOT being the "BEST versions of our SELF" their economy BOOMS in this state of being! DO you understand?? By people fighting, by people NOT agreeing with each other, by people HIGHLIGHTING mundane things like: - "I'm Overweight & that's EVERYTHING" #whereTheBIGbitchesAt - "I'm Latino & that's EVERYTHING" #wepa - "I'm Lightskin & that's EVERYTHING" #yellowNiggawithaBIGbrownDick While these things MAY seem harmless they are IN FACT deadly & dangerous! *ALSO...* the term "Africa" is a FALSELY-CREATED name/term as well . (To Repeat) I FULLY knew what she meant by her comment & I even mentioned that in my own comment. I was just saying the bigger picture to it!! Is this the platform to do so??? *Nahh... you are probably right/correct* in saying that its NOT tha deep being on a page for Burna Boy & his music which has dope Vibes & she probably was just feeling the Good Vibes & wrote what she wrote in a Good Spirit!!! So with that specific dynamic I am whaling & going too DEEP & I do apologize!! I did factor ALL that in to my original comment however, as I knew she was most likely coming from a Good/Innocent place!! I just think this is a very Serious topic & I am very PASSIONATE av=bout it because I study "Anthroplogy" (the collective consciousness) and how we (Humans) Move on a WHOLE! And I study "psychology" & I understand that those who are in "Positions of Power" Understand Psychology SOO WELL & they implement ALL that they do into Society with the INTENT to: - Divide - Separate - Cause Harm/Damage - Make our (the average-every day person) lives more *strife* so that their RULE & system can THRIVE Soo Now... because the average person does NOT understand psychology they do NOT see these LITTLE things which are really BIG-HUGE things!! And this is the EXACT reason "psychology" is NOT taught in our basic curriculum. It could be implemented EASILY at like 5th grade but, HOW do you RULE people through sub-conscious programming if they LEARN..... about the "subconscious" lol you see??? *P.E.A.C.E.* Me & my comment mean NOTHING but, LOVE & to just Share some perspectives that are NOT normally promoted Nor shared in mass day TO day dialect.

I was captured by this video. The men and the women made me cry. As a Jamaican, my spirit moved, my body quivered and my heart was in Jubilee. Thank you guys for doing this.
