I think the judge should be making a decision right then and there. Everything is laid out plain and simple. Also, while there may be jobs open on the national level. Were those two type jobs available in the area where the plaintiff lives within reasonable driving distance? They did not even get into if she had the capacity to learn either of those two jobs. What if the plaintiff can't drive long distances with her back issues? Surely Social Security doesn't require you pick up and move or move out of state to take a National listed job just to keep from paying you. Social security cannot deny you if you refuse to have invasive surgery so I believe they cannot make you move just to take a certain job they figure you can handle. I drove an hour either way to my warehouse job for 23 years with the last few years being really tough due to my bi-lateral knee issues and lumbar issues that progressively got worse until I had to resign. Going through the whole SSDI process now myself.

You know what the thing is with that they tell you what jobs you can do but nobody knows your body but you so when you tell the truth how your body operated it seems like they still deny you but they don't have your body to understand what pains or trials and tribulations you go through

Why are there even vocational specialists? They are not medical specialists or psychiatrists. They could find a job for a monkey with no hands, legs and tail. And show me the ad for the company looking for a "lenses inserter". Did he mean a CERTIFIED optometrist?

@@BurnettDriskill Im 64 with HIV, Diabetic neuropathy, and Covid Long haul. With on going list of side effects from meds. VE said I don’t have any transferable skills and one job from past work experience under 4000 in the national economy. ALJ asked my attorney for a copy of my last pay stub which was from March 2020. ALJ just wants to verify my AOD. Is this a sign that I will be approved?

@@thebootielover Yes, based on what you've said, that's a good sign. Hopefully your attorney can give you more information and some assurance about what is likely to happen next.
