Hey guys.. seems a lot of you didn't get to the part where i did damage comparisons with the F2P craftable weapons Weeping Gemini... so for anyone complaining, its at 16:40 I used a P1 Lipgloss to test the energy at the start because theres no difference in A-Ranks because none of them contribute to energy.

I’m going to point out a significant caveat here. The fight demonstrated is sub 2 minutes, but the actual time is even shorter because there are time you spend waiting around (and not using up the scorch), where characters get to keep regening energy. Without energy disc 6, and in a full continuous fight like shiyu, you will run into energy issues by the 3rd time (or so) you have to refill your scorch bar. Whether that’s a real scenario or not I can’t say.

@@dennislee170 Well ideally you want sub 2 mn fights in Shiyu to get S rank, so even if energy runs low in longer fights, by the time you start to run into energy issues you've cleared or are very close to clearing so I don't think it should be a problem

@@arxade347 it theoratically takes only ~20 seconds (100 / 8 * 1.5 = 18.75) to deplete the heat bar. In a two minute continuous fight that's 6 cycles. There are external factors in this particular test which allow energy to catch up and using less cycles. I was just pointing out this caveat. Simply hand-waving away would just be confirmation bias.

Piper Team video is kinda rough, I'm sure it can be played ALOT better so I wouldn't take the timer to clear too seriously. Note Burnice was changed ALOT during the beta, previously she had significantly higher energy cost (which means less field time needed but also more energy hungry), so the sig weapon may been designed with the old numbers in mind, but its good for us f2p players.

Thanks for all this testing. Somehow you compiled all the tests I was interested in and need for my decision whether or not to try and go for her. Caesar drained my chromes: I lost 50/50 and her W-engine dropped at close to pity. Realistically, even in the best case scenario I can get only Burnice (assuming I don't lose yet another 50/50), but I'd have to be insanely lucky to even consider her W-engine. But now I know that as long as I can get her, I'm going to be able to make a team that will do just fine. The fact that with Piper, I get to see Burnice more on the field, is also a plus for me. I was a fan of your channel anyway, but your decision to trend towards making more videos like this will basically make yours my go-to channel for ZZZ. Anyway, thanks again and keep the good stuff coming!

Thanks for the testing dude, as you said there are a lot of kit breakdowns but most of them do not test the weapons. I'm not sure about the average player but I try not to farm them because my luck is kind of bad so I need to save everything for characters. I only have Jane's weapon be cause I got drunk and felt lucky so I went for the 50 50, because of that now I had to skip caesar and maybe hope I get burnice in less than 90 Back to the point, knowing what A rank weapon works better for them is great.

Because you'll never use Burnice's ult over Jane's. Jane's ult *will* always yield stronger damage than a sub-DPS like Burnice

Jane's ult is a guarantee 1 assault proc and reenter passion buff, which gives more damage overall

Burnice's ult is probably only used if she's hypercarry or on a Burnice/Piper/Caesar team. Burnice ult + QA to Piper's full EX quickly triggers another disorder proc quite fast. Will need to build Piper with energy regen here tho, maybe even give her Burnice's sig instead lol

Just to supplement this video, Burnice energy cycling without energy regen disc 6 or sig only becomes a problem by the 4th cycle or so (4th time you have to refill bar). Usually not a problem in shorter fights. But there would be problems with longer fights. Good thing is the S rank fights needing short time are usually pretty short. Also to have better scorch efficiency, you want to apply scorch with hold basic when starting the right, not short burst of ex.

Checked my data and made a mistake. Without sig and with energy disc6 it’s 4 cycles. Without disc6 it’s gonna be less, didn’t test how much.

Yep, the standard opener for scorch application is charge into double flame, but in my particular example i had to single tap EX to sync it with the stun for the 800k nuke lol, just happened to work out that way for the fastest time in that particular example.

a nuanced question because I"m clueless and would like to hit the ground running when I get Burnice...I have maybe 4 or 5 hamster cages and was wondering between Jane and Burnice what skills you'd recommend maxing? There's a small chance I give my other team's Ellen one hamster Cage to attempt to hold down the "other" side...but I want to make my anamoly/disorder team as potent as possible but I worry that certain websites will just tell me what skiils work best on Jane's assault based teams at the moment, which may be the same when it comes to disorder...but as I said, I"m relatively clueless, and even moreso when it comes to Burnice. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds, also, ty for the video, it's informative...and while I was wondering why you went with lip gloss, i'm glad I read about how much futher you went in with weeping gemini...being that this is what i'm currently using on Jane.

It's not good for burnice, the main stat works but you're not making use of the passive that much. Same as rainforest. It's a good stat stick though. I would put it on PIPER instead. and Have Burnice use Weeping Gemini.

I'm very torn on whether to try to get Caesar's or Burnice's engine (I'm close to the 75/25 from picking up some A-rank engines). I really enjoy both characters and will be saving after anyways. Caesar seems like nice value as a team buff and more general use unit but as a psuedo-support I'm not sure it's as impactful as an engine for a DPS character would be. On the other hand Caesar doesn't really have good alternatives, currently running an A-rank stun engine just for the impact-%, while Burnice seems to have some other decent options. I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this!

Piper's engine procs off of EX special damage, Burnice's off field Afterburn procs are considered to be Assist type damage. The new set buffs both special and assist damage.

Decent AP rolls on every slot (2-3), AP D4 and I’m also using the lipgloss engine which gives AP.. if you use her signature engine that drops her down to 400 since it’s an attack engine

15-16% increase is small? When characters are doing tens of thousands of damage? Don't agree with that. That adds up when you account for team buffs being stacked on. If it was like 5% yeah sure. If you were doing low damage under 3-4k but no you see 10x that amount of damage at least.

It's not that bad. Considering the other units; Look at Ellen and Jane Doe. their Sig is 30% dmg difference. Now that's huge. not even point the fact that Ellen's main stat wep is crit which contributes to average dps dealt. It's mitigated by the fact that in end game you don't need that much dmg. even with f2p W-engines you'd still clear less than 3 minutes tops. Cuz I can clear it with f2p billy + andy + nicole with no 5* wengines. and Zhu Yuan has the smallest sig increase which is like 2%.

For me Seth is pretty good for f2p, Burnice might be better since she allows Jane to do disorder dmg. Sure it’s harder to play, but dodging with Jane is not really leading to dps lost since it does fill up her passion stream.

Yep which is why i also compare the the craftable engine. The combat tests are only to test if the energy regen on the sig does for anything for rotations and it uses a P1 lipgloss. The damage tests compares a P1 Gemini, P5 Gemini, P1 lipgloss and P5 lipgloss
