@Konoshy8 жыл бұрын
Donna Catastrophe your brain works faster than your mouth so you are already thinking 3+ sentences ahead of what you are saying.
@Scarx2gt8 жыл бұрын
Donna Catastrophe I'm not really a writer, but I sometimes write as a hobby. And I notice that I find it harder to speak most times because my brain thinks up the words before my mouth can articulate the words, and sometimes my ability to properly enunciate just flies off to stutter land lol. It also doesn't help that I hear everything in an English, American or an "academic Aussie" accent in my head depending on the word (I studied in Australia and now England lol ) but I'm from Malaysia, grew up speaking Manglish (basically 3+ languages mixed in with English) and now I have the weirdest accent. So it throws me off when the words don't come out how I think they should sound.

I was watching Rooster Teeth ever since when they only had just the few of them, now to hear that they have over 240 people there is just crazy!
@CPD0123a8 жыл бұрын
I just started with RWBY volume 3, and to hear that there's over 240 people is just crazy! Lol! And they're such a laid back sounding company, which is probably very good. You can't do what they do, and sound like it's just work, and be successful. Sure, they could probably grind out RWBY as full 30 minute episodes week after week for years on end, but that would get tiring and everyone on both sides of the screen would just get burned out. And there's no way Achievement Hunter can have fun and do what they do if they were on a short leash, either.
@Smug_Amber8 жыл бұрын
Exactly, that's why I hope to find a company similar to them to work in. I would try to work at Rooster Teeth, but I would need a work visa and a lot of paper work before I could

I just wanted to add, that watching everyone get lunch was, wow, it was overwhelming. All these people have jobs because a group of guys made some funny videos with Halo in 2003 that developed a fan base and grew from there. This whole adventure has come such a long way. It's amazing. Inspiring too. Being able to see them grow into the large company they've become, and knowing that they're just continuing to grow; and create; and do such good in the world, whether that's through making people's days a little brighter with their content, or making people's days a little better with their charity work. It's just always kind of a shock to see when the company is grouped in a room. It's awesome. Also my face hurts from smiling so much. Everyone that works at RT just loves their jobs. You'd be hard-pressed to find a company with as many happy employees as Rooster Teeth.

@texmex82208 жыл бұрын
I can guess the expendetures, paychecks, materials to build sets, replacement equipment for Gavin, updated software, and equipment. As for profits they must be raking it in lol
@ronthomason83888 жыл бұрын
Burnie did say there are 240 people at RoosterTeeth. Lets assume for an example that everyone gets a salary of 40K per year (obviously not but just for an example). That would be $9.6 million every year just in payroll. (Obviously it would be much higher for majority of those people probably somewhere's around $11 or $12 million). Replacement for Gavin's equipment must have a budget of $15mil at it's least.
@chriss.93988 жыл бұрын
I would imagine most of the profits comes from merchandise, dvd's and downloads, and memberships. Not sure if they monetize the youtube videos, with how many views I don't see why they wouldn't do that as well.

i think they get a lot more from actual advertising in the videos than from monetizing... like the ad reads in the podcast etc.

TheLasagneLP I completely forgot about the advertisements. You are absolutely correct in saying that is also a huge source of their income now as well. It can be annoying to the viewer but from a business point of view its makes them a lot of money. Suddenly now I want to go buy a MVMT watch.. huh.
