I just realized.. The discarded vessel FITS AS A SECRET BOSS! Being thrown away is a consistent theme with the two secret bosses we currently have, Jevil and Spamton. This also seems like something you would go insane for, like the other two. The song even has The World Revolving motif, or should I say the Freedom motif? All secret bosses will probably have The World Revolving motif as Spamton does have the motif. The only problem with the discarded vessel is.. How can a mannequin be barely used, as joker cards are barely used and Spamton is well.. spam.

@@mochabunny666 In a way, we are. Most of the characters in Hometown already think that Kris has been acting strange due to our influence. It wouldn't surprise me that a genocide route would eventually be possible in Deltarune, and that would lead to our being the Knight instead of someone like Asriel or Gaster. With how Undertale's genocide route ended, it's a distinct possibility. However... the player may be playing with this world, but I find it unlikely that we'd end up being the Roaring Knight. If you've watched Game Theory's video on this, then you'll know what I mean. The player just wants to be a part of another world; in that way, we're much like Kris. Only genocidal players would want to destroy it. Meanwhile, there's someone who might actually end up shattering Kris's imaginary Dark World: But you'll have to watch Matpat's vid on that: "Game Theory, the Tragedy of Deltarune"

Normally concepts like these feel pretty bofing and unfitting but you managed to do something really good! I like the use of several different leitmotifs and it all sounds good together Honestly if we are ever gonna fight the vessel then the cicumstances will be very special and the vessel will probably have an emowered version instead of just a grey human but noone can guess what Toby has in mind. I think vessel can't feel any emotions at all, since it was made for you to control it, vessel wasn't made to be alive, but instead made not to be sentient, because of this, vessel can't feel any emotions. So its basically made to be controlled as it isn't sentient.

Id be so dead if i have to fight kris, susie, and ralsei not because there's 3 of them its because they're stats have either 1 that has 2 digit numbers or 2 stats that have 2 didgt numbers (ie: magic 15, attack: 21) and yes its with the chapter 2 continuation my own ralsei can do 120 damage if max hit like kris and my susies does 210 or 187

Wow great theme you got here!! Creepy, epic, AND climactic! And kudos to you for implementing so many leitmotifs! Mind if I rant for a bit here?? I love how Toby points out the underlying twistedness of bending an innocent person, usually a child, to your own achievement-seeking will in most video games... Maybe in chapter 6 there'll be something like this, where Kris rebels from your control finally, and you have to control the Vessel? Smthn with Gaster mebbe? I assume chapter 7 will be reserved for the Roaring Titans and/or the knight. Also I am CONVINCED Papyrus is the Knight... and his theme better be a Megalo Strikes Back X Bonetrousle remix or I am never playing UT/DR again lol Yeah I love Skittles I found a random unopened pack of Skittles in a desk at school a few weeks ago and ate them all in one math class (math is boring as hekk)

according to Chess theory at the very least the Knights arc should be chapter 5, may still have a presence in later chapters but I think the Knight is probably going to be a penultimate boss rather than the final boss. as for Papyrus being the Knight, I think he is probably the least likely candidate that it could be. Alvin, Mayor Holiday, even Kris is more likely.

@@Yuni-is-Schrodingers-Fox Personally, I don’t think Kris will be the knight because I think in the 6th anniversary stream, Toby said he was thinking of a long staircase with shadows of all the final bosses where Kris and everyone would walk up, and then the Knight would be at the top. This heavily implies that kris and the knight are different people. But, I am not trying to disencourage any theories because everyone has their own unique ideas.

@@cindyzhaoyingzi8719 have you considered that intro wasn't being literal? It's representative of Kris' conflict within themselves that they are both the Knight (Kris) and trying to stop the Knight (us) and having to deal with the identity crisis that'd cause. Anime does that shit all the time, where their intros portray conflicts that never actually happen in the show since it's supposed to be taken metaphorically as a representation of the shows overall plot and not a literal representation of something that actually happens. Also that scene went unused for a reason and shouldn't be used as proof of anything. Maybe Toby realized that, if his intention was for Kris to be the Knight, that making that intro would logically lead most people to conclude fhat Kris is in fact not the Knight, making the reveal more confusing than rewarding. So I can easily see the cancelation as the opening as further proof of Kris Knight. That said I am not a proponent of Kris Knight in the traditional sense, I just think Kris Knight makes more sense than Papyrus Knight. My personal belief is that Kris will become the Knight in chapter 5 or 6 after defeating the previous one thus the player has to take control of the vessel and stop them.
