We have since added missing features and fixed the bugs that were present. It is important to emphasize that everything you see here is still in the very early stages of development and is dated back to early 2023. This footage was captured among our development team during a small skirmish aimed at testing specific elements within that build.

Nice footage. My two cents: -nametags should not be visibile in the helicopter/vehicles -m60 should be more unstable firing when not bipodded -nametags should only be visible when pointing towards the players

Nobody wants those name-tags to be in the game. I suspect that's just a testing thing. Same with no lean/blah blah blah. WE seasoned shooter veterans know what early test footage means, and frankly this is looking great. Look forward to supporting this! We are eager to play, but take all the time you need.

This looks really good but I hope you guys have an enforced grass render range in the game otherwise people can just turn that off and gain an advantage when the whole point of battling in this type of environment is to be in long tall thick grass and bush. Personally I would increase the grass render range that I am seeing in this footage as any battle in the average engagement range would be outside of this making concealment in terrain like this useless but that is of course if the game can handle that without lowering the FPS

Just watch itll be like Battlefield Vietnam were random people will fly the helicopter just to crash it in a tree or have a squad load just to fly at the objective but decided to just crash into a river bed. Kinda think in my opinion that the choper should just have an A.I pilot and have it fly us to the destination instead of random folks who may not know how to. Kinda similar to The Delta Force Games.

I know this is outdated footage but from this footage I think it’s a bit robotic. There is no weapon sway and I feel like an idle animation would make your character feel far more real. Of course I’m sure y’all have implemented some kind of iteration of this and if not I’m sure y’all will. I’m definitely looking forward to the future of this game.

Are you guys going to keep the static aim point? Rising Storm 2 has your aim disconnected from the mouse so you can move the gun around without moving the entire screen, allowing for much more natural gunfighting ALA milsim. I see here you are using a traditional system where the aimpoint is always locked to the centre of the screen.

DICE has set the bar low. But truly the days of comparing these types of game to BF/COD are over. WE have RS2, Squad, HLL, Now Burning Lands. Battlefield is a one man army simulator with the facade of two "teams" playing against each other. Its shallow, repititive and nothing like these games tbh

The lighting looks like it has a sepia wash on it. This is like from the "Squad lighting update" and it doesn't look natural or good, it looks like "Xbox 360 days" of sepia and bloom. Guys, it looks bad, don't copy OWI with Squad, they don't know how to do good looking lighting. It needs good use of white balancing without these weird' HDR sepia filters" or whatever you're doing to make it look like that. Everything else looks great.
