Just be careful since these are likely to be in ponds and lakes with a lot of decomposing plant matter, which raises the temperature of the water around it, which could cause the ice to be thinner, especially in shallow areas, where cattails or bulrushes may be present.

Depending on the size its either a risk or a fire that's enough to cook an egg (Basically its much better to just find a basin sized one and use it as a starter or even get a plastic bag and keep the gas in there.and dont light it up if its as big as a pool,not worth it.)

Oh Yeah you’ll will need a farly big one the ones they popped should be big enough Tho if you’re trying to cook something huge, you will need a giant bubble and something that will control the hole opening from getting bigger as the hole will get bigger as the fire goes on but for like grilling a couple of fish or boiling water oh yeah 👍
