That's really cool that you don't shy lost games. I think it's a good challenge for you and the viewers to try and figure out what were the mistakes and if it could have been won. If I'm not mistaken, there's even a tool to organize such challenge in the game. As for the game, I think, selling one WF and going for flank with 3 packs of shielded wasps or phoenexes could've done it. Elite spec is really strong in switching strategies, since you always start with lvl2 units.

This was a fantastic match! The destination matters not to the journey. Round 5 or 6 steel balls or hard commit wasp might answer it, im excited for the replay feature

(new player perspective, just rambling really) I think photon sabertooths at some point after acid was revealed would have made a huge difference. Overlord would as well, I only mention sabertooths since you already had them unlocked and costs can be an issue on elite. Your WF on the right was consistently dying in the first 30 seconds, so having 20 seconds of electro mag immunity + acid immunity I think would have gone a long way. Hopefully the EMag immunity would allow launcher overload/range to break through the chaffe in time to eliminate the scorpions or vulcans. That being said, I can't decide when the right round to squeeze those in would be. Maybe the round you dropped fangs? But forward chaffe was needed to distract to the scorpion. At the same time, all chaffe was melting so fast with those vulcans. The other thing that's hard to evaluate, especially as a newer player like me, is you missed a lot of deploys in the earlier rounds. I understand it's not that cut and dry, and that elite spec in particular makes it very difficult to balance out unlocks/upgrades/maxing deploys, but I feel like if they weren't missed then some of your later round fang/crawler drops could have been answers to his chaffe/acid/emp. And I'm not trying to downplay the importance of chaffe! Chaffe is super hard to evaluate in this one. Because on one hand, having the acid hit fangs is desirable. But on the other hand those vulcans were eating packs of fangs/crawlers in a matter of seconds, if that. What a rough match :x Regardless, I think the answer to "what would you do here" on round 10 is lose. Especially with that Lightning Storm in the wings :x EDIT: Maybe not on the photon. It might have helped on the left, but the right side WF actually went a full 20 seconds in round 9 before touching acid. But, again, these are insights from re-watching footage, so not decisions that could have been made mid-match.

I agree, the vulcan question was asked by round 5. I think armor steel balls could help, or hard switching air. Balls with the war factory would be a fun play

I was playing war factory half my games and got to 1100, then people started playing this. Now I'll actually need to learn how to play flex lol. I'd love to pivot into air, but it feels like it would be too little too late.
