The theme of Elizabeth Bathory and her infamous ‘blood countess’ reputation was a fantastic inspiration for a breathtaking video clip. We all could relate to the story and its creepy saga and knew from the beginning, it would be a new highlight in the WITCHES history! “

Romana Kalkuhl is the most underrated, incredible songwriter in metal today and her buzzsaw guitar tone is absolutely intoxicating. It takes more than technical skill to set yourself apart, the songs have to be good - and these songs - one after the other - are undeniably great. One of the top metal acts in all the world right now, IMO.

Greetings from germany. I read about this band in the review of ROCK HARZ 2023. Great - just great what i hear right now! Grewing up in the metal scene of the 80s this the right stuff to train my neck muscles again. Super heavy riffing and the whole package of this band is just awesome! Have to search deeper in their catalogue. Would really like to see them live on stage one day!

I kept getting "who is playing Elizabeth Bathory?" moments through the video, then when I saw who made the video it clicked. Yes it is close..the Hungarian army walled her on her master bedroom after she captured the princess for 3 days..some vamp enthusiasts claim she got out..over 650 girls were drained of their blood and tortured..infact the whole village there were maidens left..the guy was her servant he did all the torture stuff..the army killed him I think..they stormed the castle she had pits near the kitchen so they could hear the girls scream she bathed in their blood drank it for their beauty..real life vamp..other than count st. Germain still Alive today in new Orleans now known as jack..fascinating stuff
