Awesome video Eric nice bulls I would of killed this pass December hunt but the bull I hit ran on state side and by the time I had to go after him I lost his track from snow melted snow pretty much that was my hunt but good video blessings to get a nice bull 🤙

Far as shed hunting goes how far do you travel in and what terrain do you look for?

Rugged, steep slopes where bull elk hide out from all the people. Sometimes they’re right off the trail sometimes 2-4 miles in.

Two awesome bulls there Eric. Happy that you two got more puppy 🐶 love in your life too. Congratulations on your first AZ bull. (I know that they don’t come around often) I’m hoping to get out west this fall and since I haven’t been able to go for one reason or another since I was just a tagalong in Idaho in 2019 I have some points built up in Wyoming and Colorado (I got married and had to quit buying in other states). 5 points for deer 🦌 and pronghorn and 2 for elk in Wyoming, 4 points for elk and deer 🦌 in Colorado. I’m debating whether to do my original plan of a combo rifle hunt for WY deer and pronghorn, but I heard about the horrific winter kill and fawn recruitment from last winter ❄️ and thinking 🤔 maybe to wait on deer 🦌 there instead of burning 🔥 those points. So my other thought is reduced price cow elk in Wyoming and pronghorn. My other option that others are pushing is OTC elk in Colorado since I am from the east and it’s a little closer and they just introduced wolves 🐺 and there are talks of getting rid of the OTC elk hunting opportunities soon. That would give me experience without burning points. Anyway congrats again Eric. 😎
