Dude, just take a bit of time to like the game! The game has got loads of action especially when you get to the better cars. Problem is YOU GOTTA LET GO OF THE MODERN RACER INSTINCTS just tapping the break and sliding into the next turn is the way to go, and also you gotta understand the map a bit better. Honestly Love your content and i hope you keep playing because so long as you let loose your inner Road raging self, the game is fun to play and watch

The colors on the map represent what event it is: Red- Road Rage Green- Stunts Blue- Race Yellow- Marked Man Brown (with star)- Burning route for that specific car

Also, as the in game DJ Striker says in Burnout 3, Be aggressive. B E Aggressive. Take down other cars in races to give yourself an advantage. And in the case of this game, don't let the turn signals lead you by the nose and screw you up. Know the map and take whatever route works for you, kiddo.

Here are some tips for you: 1. If you want to do a race use a speed car or stunt car because they go faster 2. In Marked Man events, never use a speedy car because Speed cars gets totaled a lot quicker than stunt or aggression cars 3. In stunt run events use a stunt car to gain a lot of altitude and more points and do barrels to get more multipliers to make your score go even higher 4. For a road-rage event, you can use a aggression car or stunt car which one you like best fits in 5. For the burning routes, use the selected card that it requires for you to use and always find shortcuts you don't always have to follow where it tells you to go find shortcuts along the way and get there a lot more quicker so you don't fail 6. In my opinion you should use the legendary cars because it's a lot more faster than the current car is that you're facing and every event you go through so that's your choice if you want And thats it......hope you read it

Here are some tips Trev. To do a burnout chain, you have to do stunts, near misses, takedowns, or drive in ongoing to refill your boost bar again. Ongoing is the most reliable way to fill the bar, but it is also a bit unreliable if you don't know how to avoid traffic. You are right that you want to stop using the e-brake; just tap the brake to start drifting around a corner. This will help you make corners better. The e-brake is mostly for later cars where you have less time to react. Stunt runs will help you learn the map, don't do repetitive stuff until you know the map decently. Also if you find the single-player to be disappointing, try multiplayer when others get on, but if you want to start a new series, I'll be fine with that.

Trevor here's a few tips for you that hopefully you see and which you probably may know already so these may be useless....but whenever your doing a race do not e-brake (like you did) when turning if you can just drift it makes things a whole lot easier because if you e-brake depending on how far away the other racers are it gives them a bit more time to catch up, during marked mans if you have trouble with them don't go to fast but dont go to slow....like when I do marked mans on the pc (original) whenever there near me sometimes I like to slow down and they just drive right past because they go faster and then I'll start speeding up again also sometimes if you stay constant with your speed they do ride your ass like nothing, during the road rages pick a car you feel comfortable with, (if you pick a strong car that can deal some damage the game will also pick those cars for you and sometimes it gets a bit harder)so I would recommend a car that's kind of in the middle of strong and weak,(this one you may know but may not know and it may be a bit of a spoiler and if it is I'm sorry) try to smash as many billboards and gates as you can if you get all of them I believe you get a special car,(not really special but you know what I mean)also do burning routes they give you better upgraded versions of the original ride.

Dude this game is OG! This is the first game i ever played on xbox 360! My brother and i got a 360 for christmas and we got burnout paradise and cod world at war. I put hundreds of hours in this game and was going for 100% completion but i had a glitch where i couldnt get the last smash.

This game opens up the more you play it with more variety and challenge. I say continue, and getting to things like the DLC cars are really fun as well, tearing around Paradise City in TOY CARS, or a DeLorean?! What more could you want. The online is pretty sweet as well, cruising around with other players doing little challenges and races is pretty fun. I understand Trev’s point regarding it feels like a 2008 game which it is, and I suppose for people who did play it originally it would feel different. I, for one, can’t wait to play it again!!

Also also, take the right vehicle class for the right events. If you're gonna do road rage or marked man, for the love of Crom, take a muscle car. In fact, I personally take any class but Speed because they can only start boosting when it's full, and you can only chain boosts as long as you hold it. Let up on it, and you have to either drive through a gas station, take down another car, or build the boost back up normally to start again, and that can really screw you if it happens at a bad time.
