Why is J-POP so overshadowed by other genres of music? Like, Japan's music is so cool, the vocals are amazing while most people think that the vocals are like funny sounding. I came here from Haikyuu!! But really stayed because of the lyrics :') Really love how the artist keeps repeating the phrase "Hikari are" / "There will be light", where light is used as a symbolism of hope. But in the 2nd verse, there's a part that says, "Never bending, never giving in, keep chasing your ideals. Let that resolution be known as light." It's as if the artist is saying that hope wouldn't come out from nowhere of the blue, hope is not just a false belief that things will get better. It's a product that came from having resolution. You have to put in the effort to not give up and make your own light. And I don't know if this is too far of a stretch, but I just thought about how Tsukki is always being called the moon, and how the moon doesn't shine by itself (they reflected the light from a sun). BUT, Tsukishima put in the effort to work hard and fought for his ideals of "at least blocking a few of Ushijima's spike." And how his first name is Kei, which means fireflies, because he has his own ways of emitting light of his own, not just simply reflecting Hinata's light (who is very inspirational, he's the Sun after all..). Haikyuu is such a beautiful series I love how this song fits it so much :')
