Back in the day leaving show I was *ordered* by a cop to do a burnout. There was a spot, right at a RR bridge, that everyone- everyone- at the show did a burnout as they left. 100s of cars. I complied with the order.

Right? Those things were the boss of the smoke shows, Had an 86 with an LT-1 swap was an automatic (unfortunately) but a reinforced auto, you just needed the brake to break it loose 🤘😎 The 84 I had an exhaust put on, shop owners like hey it’s traditional, ya gotta light em up 🤘😎 Ok twist my arm 😂

We do like American cars here in the nordic countries... Until recently, one of the largest American car meets in the world (yes, USA included) was held annually here in Sweden... I think the Woodward Dream Cruise was the only one of comparable size. Unfortunately the guy who ran Power Big Meet decided to move it to another city, while folks in the old city still wanted a car meet... so now there are two smaller meets instead of one huge one. And of course they "must" run both meets the same weekend.....

It's pretty easy, this car culture is strong here and we have domestic businesses who sell parts. Some more rare parts are easy to order from the US beacuse of internet.
