My friend the wind (Demis Roussos instrumental cover)

I was introduced to this lovely tune by my friend Joseph (Naljos421) who has posted an excellent rendition on his channel. (have a look) I would have preferred to play the middle part on a bouzouki but don´t have one hahah 1 So I tried to take the Double-6 for it. I hope you will like it.

Hi Ernst - I'm not familiar with the tune but it has that Greek feel to it and sounded very good along with a smashing Backing track. The Double 6 was a good replacement for a bouzouki which I had to look up. Lol Cheers Phil

Hi Ernst. I love this song. I have been wondering long time if it is difficult to imitate the sound of Bouzouki. Yesterday I heard from the radio the Finnish version of the song called Milise Mou. I checked half an hour KZbin, if there were instrumental versions of it. I did find one played by classic guitar. Nana Mouskouri has many versions. After my checks, I returned to the Finnish version presented by Anita Hirvonen and I have to say that it’s the best. Anita presents it in Finnish: Villitsee mun. The title in Greek is: Milise Mou (Talk to me). Compositor is Manos Hadjidakis. If you interested in, then check the version of Anita: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZ_TZaKKpd5lm9U. I beg my pardon when presenting my idea, but I appreciate your skills very much and I am sure that you could mange this song by classic guitar. Best regards, Matti
