Thank you for your complements! To start the process, you need a digital audio workspace (DAW). I personally used FL Studio but anything works (ableton, reaper, logic, garageband). Having a good instrument vst/pack is optional, but good if you don't want it to sound too "cheesy". I used Kontakt Library for a decent sound. Then, all of the work depends on your transcribing skills. For me, I listened to this song for days, and slowly go over each instrument I notated what they played manually by clicking around on the "piano roll" and adding intensities (I don't have the skill to play live!). For the parts that I couldn't hear, I had to guess. After that, I did a little bit of mixing by balancing the instruments and adding effects. It sounds like a lot, but it isn't! Just pick a program to start with and train your ear. This process is simply me trying to recreate what the original artist did. Like practicing drawing by staring at a finished drawing and copying. Feel free to respond to me if you have questions, I actively check my emails. I cannot remember everything for this video though since it has been 7 years and I don't have the original files!

I used a digital audio workspace: Fl Studio (similar to garageband or Ableton), which contains many virtual instruments that can be programmed with midi! I then input midi by hand or by piano for all the instruments you hear and mixed them with eq and reverb etc. Let me know if you have any questions about that!
