He says he wants to see people get what he thinks they deserve. So Vicky deserves to be stuck with your creepy self for all eternity? Interesting... although I can't say undead Vicky would be much different than alive Vicky. I guess if he can't find a woman who wants to be with him voluntarily, forcing one to be your unwilling bride makes sense when you have an ego that big. In his mind who wouldn't want to pretend they're his lover in some crazy ass fantasyland. Do they have psychiatrist for vampires? XD

Barnabas is a vampire, and beyond morals. Yet his character draws our attention to our moral scheme as humans. The fantasy, the crossing of the moral boundaries, is ours all to enjoy, and creates the drama. To place Barnabas's fantasy, as you call it, too harshly under the spotlight is to put your own there as well. Moral outrage seems a strange thing to seek from Dark Shadows.
