Burra 2024 and 2020

This is a video about our recent family get together at BURRA IN South Australia.We were last there in 2020 just as we were being allowed to travel to the country side as the covid crisis was easing.On this trip I was severely restricted by a knee injury so I was not able to get out and about like I normally would.I did manage to do some photography but I have supplemented this video with some stills from our 2020 trip.Burra is a wonderful historical mining town and a photographers and historians dream.There are also good eating places and shops to explore.All the food we had in cafe’s and pubs was at a reasonable price and ample serves.Below is a link ton my blog to my writings and pics about our 2020 trip.

Some other places featured here are the Worlds End National park which has some massive gum trees and a creek running through it and Redbanks which is a wonderful dry creek bed with spectacular coloured red cliffs.

Also the historic ruined Hampton Village is wonderful.
