Burry Port & Cefn Sidan - The Aftermath. 02/02/2014

With much improved weather conditions today, I went down to both Burry Port Harbour, and Cefn Sidan Beach, see the aftermath of the recent storm since my last visits.
At Burry Port Harbour, there was still a high tide, but with much reduced wind force, things were far more tranquil.
I then went down to Cefn Sidan Beach, and was shocked to find far more erosion of the Sand Dunes than my last visit just over a week ago. The only access currently open to access the beach is the main one, and even that is blocked by debris from the storms.
The sad thing is that this damage can never be repaired, and will continue to lose ground during the forthcoming storms forecast for the coming week.
