Burson Playmate 2 Review ft. Special Guest!

I just sold my arya but when I started using the burson pm2 it was as exactly as you said. Smoothes and tames the treble slightly. After months of using the Arya and the clear OG - I decided to keep the clear. Still using the pm2 and thinking of whether to upgrade the opamps or get a soloist x3 - one is more cost effective than the other. Choices. Great video!

Thanks for the informative video. I don't understand what causes the warm coloration you describe. Are there filters in the DAC section and, if so, how are they different from the on-chip filters of other DACs?

What do you think - audeze lcd-x and playmate 2 will be a good combo? I like slight warmth in music. Thank you for video.

I think it can make for a very nice combo! If you'd like to add a touch of warmth to your LCDs it'll be a good choice, and the Playmate has enough power to drive the LCD-X properly.

I like your O-ring and your cat. Supposedly dog is the best friend of human. Bullshit! The truth is actually that cats always sleep near their human and they sh*t in their litter boxes. Dog would do it even on your own bed if you don't take him for a walk. So I identify with you Mat. Burson Playmate ok. I'm using FX-Audio DAC X3 PRO. Also ok. Thanks for good video.
