in this machine can possible to test the floor mat ? please advise.

The machine is designed to test Paperboard and Corrugated Boards only. But the same machine is also used for testing Canvas, Leather, Woven Sacks, too. So I guess floor mats will also be a possibility. Unfortunately these "other" items need a much higher burst strength. There are machines available in the market which have a capacity as high as 70 Kg/cm2 (which is what is needed for non-paper applications). We manufacture only upto 25 kg/cm2 capacity and hence it may not be sufficient for Floor Mat Testing.

@@PackTest Do you have the machine that test canvas? Because we need to know how many seconds will a canvas paper endure under 70kg/cm2 pressure before it tears. Please we need this data for research purposes. Thank you.

@@maryaltheaadapon6308 I am afraid the max capacity of this machine is 25 Kg/cm2 only. We dont manufacture higher capacity models. Sorry. But perhaps you can do the Ball Burst method using a compression or UTM machine.

@@PackTest Good Day! I'm a student from Philippines and i'm currently conducting a research along with my classmates. Servite Domino in Laetitia is one of my classmates. And we need to know if how many seconds will a canvas or canvas paper endure under 1 kg and 2 kg pressure, before it tears. We changed the needed pressure into 1 kg and 2 kg. And we thought that we could get that data through testing it in that machine, so we could compare this data in our samples. So if you could kindly do us a favor, can you try testing a canvas in that machine under 1 kg and 2 kg pressure and count the number of seconds that it endured the pressure before tearing? Please we need this data for our research, kindly help us please.

How the machine analyze that the sample is tear
@PackTest6 жыл бұрын
The machine cannot SEE the tear/burst happen so it uses logic. The pressure under the sample keeps increasing till the sample ruptures / bursts. When this happens, there is a sudden drop in pressure. The machine detects this sudden drop in pressure as a burst point and stops the machine and reverses it too. The extent of drop is called treshold value and can be set from the menu by the user depending upon the material being tested. Hope I was helpful.
