Very interesting interview. He's usually so gruff and distant...it's fascinating to see him open up and be so frank about his regrets. Cool guy.

I don't care if Burt Reynolds was no angel. The man is a legend and he has starred in some of the best films and TV shows ever. God bless you Burt.

Excellent first part of this interview, Burt has a great sense of humour. I've never seen that fall from Shamus before, it's amazing he wasn't paralyzed or killed with that landing.

Burt was a living legend back in the day. I grew up watching him in of course smokey and the bandit. An d cannonball run. And yet with these silly movies he was the highest paid actor at that time. Can you imagine what he would of made had he accepted these bigger roles.

"Machines are gonna fail....and the system's gonna fail.....then survival".....................Burt's character was a doomsday prepper before the concept was mainstream

Incidentally,,Sony did have both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio models available in 1999. Thanks again for Your arrogant, negative, pointless comment,Good day to you

Never made a good movie? The longest yard is a classic. What about boogie nights? Smokey and the bandit? Cannonball run etc. You talk rubbish.

Starting Over and Breaking In, 2 of his very best performances that rarely get the credit they deserve. And so many more...
