Oh I've been looking forward to this video! Thank you for being so thorough in your review! I am definitely going to check these out. The only Burt's Bees lip product I've tried is the tinted lip balm which I really like! Hope your week is off to a great start!

I've used so many of the tinted lip balms. They're nice, but I like a bit more color. I get that happy medium of hydrating and colorful from the lipsticks. I'm also super in love with the lip oils. During the summer when I wear so much less makeup (like today) I still put stuff on my lips, and the oils are perfect for these types of days!

I'm actually thinking about picking up more of the shades in the oils that I don't have. I'm plowing through them quickly, but they live in my purse. It's also something that I'll let my young daughters use because the color is so slight. I don't let them wear any makeup other than sheer lipgloss at the moment. The lip oils are their favorites too!

Thank you for sharing such an informative review on these Burt's Bees lipsticks :) The Lily Lake shade has been my beloved favorite for awhile now... they really do moisturize the lips very nicely :) Have you had a chance to try their makeup? Take care

I was actually super disappointed in their lipstick, I purchased lily lake and upon first swipe I discovered it had like granuals in it.. not a good formula at all and burst bees reimbursed me for my purchase but they never bothered to give an excuse as to what the issue was so for me their lip line is a no go now

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with the Burt's bees lipsticks. I haven't had any if the problems you did. I totally understand why you wouldn't be excited to try anything else from their lip line. I like most of what I've tried. I'm quite impressed with the quality for the price.

Burt's Bees reformulated both products since I made this video. I'm not sure my opinion would help you. I haven't tried the new formulations. I'm sorry.

@@anishayerpula2936 I don't know. I'm sorry I can't help. I do have some of their lip balms and gloss & glow sticks. They all have a scent to them, so I do think they use essential oils. Perhaps even artificial scents. 🤷‍♀️

I have watched this video so many times lol. Trying to figure out which shade I want to buy to try it out. Which would you say has less of a scent, the lip crayons or lipsticks?

Mine are older now, and all have a subtle scent to them. I'd say the lipsticks have less of a scent. Neither were scented, but do subtly smell of beeswax . . . because Burt's Bees. I've gotten rid of so many of these over the past two years, but I've held on to Juniper Water, Lily Lake, Sunset Cruise, and Ruby Ripple in the Lipsticks. I've finished up all the Lip Oils, and repurchased the nude lip oil several times in 2019. In the Lip Crayons, I still have Redwood Forest, and Niagara Overlook. I really thinned the herd when I was doing a declutter in late 2019. I do really like them, but I had too many. I wouldn't have purchased the entire line like my husband did for me, but they were on sale! He's a great guy!

I have to have something on my lips to. I get it from my mother I grew up watching her always putting on lipstick or lipgloss on her lips and she always told me to keep my lips moisturized. so when I was in the hospital quite a few times I always had something on my lips lipstick lip gloss chapstick in fact I would wear the latex liquid lipsticks buy too faced I'm bossy. When I would put it on I would ask the nurses how does it look? And even though I did not feel well physically just putting on the lipstick made me feel better.

Me too! You're better now? I sure hope so. In late 2017, I had my second brain surgery, but my incision sight got infected. I had to be air lifted from my local hospital, to Seattle, so I left my husband with a list of things to bring: underwear, clothes, hair brush, skincare, lip balm and gloss. I knew I could get a toothbrush and toiletries at the hospital, so I gave him a short list of the important things. I wasn't going to spend a week and a half in the Neuro ICU without skincare and lip stuff! It took another two brain surgeries, but I'm so much better now. I hope you're feeling better too!

@@thelipstickgal I am so glad to see that you are doing much better after going through all of that. Thank goodness where to get your product you wanted and what to bring. Sunday would be scrambling in that area. My mom brought me lip gloss nail polish and earrings. Trust and believe I tried to wear all of them while I spent about a month in the hospital.
