With Hutchinson and Loovens out, we don't have the back up. Venancio should have been thrown in to partner Lees, and I thought it was odd how that wasn't the partnership for this game. Maybe Venancio wasn't match fit? Who knows, but we seriously needed more defenders this summer and it hasn't happened.

Fantastic finish by Hooper, Boyd was offside for the disallowed goal by the look of it, and I thought we had enough chances to win it overall. Still concerned in a defensive sense, our centres backs were getting turned far too easily in tight situations. Carvalhal really has to stick with a settled front two, play with more pace and directness, and get Forestieri back in the side immediately. Still think we can have a good season despite our (customary) slow start, but we need to start winning after the international break.

The cross from Reach to Boyd seemed to me to be squared across the goal ( not a forward pass). Though there was no decent camera angle to show it properly). Not offside if no forward pass unless the idiots in charge have changed the offside rule yet again??

+Geoffrey Wilson I think it was unfortunately. You can see the way the ball is moving along the six yards line, it is angling towards the line rather than parallel to it. Boyd's timing for his run was just slightly off unfortunately.

Overall, we played quite well with some bad defensive moments and we didn't take our chance like we should. Also, I like Pudil at LB, but he's just not strong enough at CB. Does anyone actually see anything in Jones? I can't see why he gets in the team...he can't tackle as he just uses his arms, he can't shoot except the one against Sunderland, and his passes are very wayward.

If we sell Jordan Rhodes, then it will prove what a fucking shambles the management is.......The bloke is one of the best strikers in the championship. ...Carlos is a joke.....He's allergic to quick wingers...even though its a 'must' in modern football....He's obsessed with rotation, which badly hampers a team's progress and continuity...thats why he still isn't sure of our best eleven,..His CV says it all....Expect more post match ramblings until he's shown the boot, and a proper manager comes in.....One that can get the most out of these players.
