Reptile is about an alien invasion of Earth and humanity's resistance to it, according to the band. DMC V is about demons invading earth, and Bury the Light is the theme of the man behind that invasion. The songs work together very well, narratively. Reptile is the reaction of humanity, and Bury the Light the motivation of the invaders.
