That's pretty damn cool, I'd blast off the rust and repaint it, especially if you plan to bury it, maybe shrink wrap it before you put it in yhe ground for longevity

I'm hoping to never have to bury it of course, but got it just in case. I'm thinking of just hitting the whole thing with some flex seal spray paint stuff 🤷‍♂️ Definitely need to water proof it somehow though

Clean the rust off and primer the spots. Then a couple coats of bed liner on the exterior will keep the rust away. Clean and lightly grease all steel components. Insert items in a heavy mil plastic bag with desiccant pouches to prevent corrosion. 🇺🇸⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇺🇸

not leak proof, always put a bigger PVC Pipe over it to waterproof it. Not for food use. Okay for guns and ammo.
