As an Auto body repair man known for my insightful comments 😁rust repairs are never guaranteed unless the rusted areas are cut out and new metal welded in place. This is very costly and many owners will opt for a quick cosmetic fix "BEST CAN DO" the only guarantee you get is that the rust will come back this poor guy should have made that clear "best can do" if all the windows needed sealing that old bus was a rust bucket
@Julie-sl8ul17 сағат бұрын
It sounds like she wanted perfection with the least amount of money. That old bus needs lots of money to fix satisfactorily. Very good business idea, however. I hope she made it work out 🙏🏽

“The windows are covered with sheetrock now.” If they covered the windows but didn’t re-seal the windows … of course they are going to still leak 🤷🏻
@rayvnsamone5314 сағат бұрын
He said and she said that he did seal the windows, what I think the problem with the sheet rock is condensation and moisture are building up behind the sheet rock and that's causing the mold.
@PartyOf8Please10 сағат бұрын
@ Very well could be - sheetrock doesn’t breathe, that’s for sure! Maybe they needed to use a vapor barrier and insulation, much like when we build houses. It’s too bad it was such a problem for her - it was definitely a unique idea for a business. I hope she eventually got it off the ground.

@DIDYOUSEETHAT1727 сағат бұрын
She went cheap, and expected brand new. Its called a "Bush fix!" A temporary solution until you can fix it permanently. And or it fails again. If you have a rusty section, especially on a roof yo do not "seal it" expecting it to last. Rusty metal needs to be cut out and the whole section replaced, or in this case since she would not use the rusted out emergency exit, remove the exit door, and replace the whole section with new metal.

I know that it’s hard to tell what things look like on photos and videos but it looks like a lot of work was done inside the bus and I think to get the work done properly needed more research and maybe some kind of engineering and designing from certain certified contractors ..

The rusted metal needed removing and replacing and it doesn't sound like she was up for doing that. She bought a rusty old bus, and where there's rust it will continue leaking.
