This is beyond amazing! My family just saw you guys pulling into, and parking for the night 😇 in Lincoln NE! My kids couldn’t believe what they were seeing/looking at; as neither could we!! Now we watched the whole transformation year video and oh my goodness it’s beautiful. Congratulations on this amazing journey and fun times.

looks like what I've been doing for the last 7 years and not done yet..🤑🤑... looks really good, glad you're having fun with it. Looks easy when you do a time lapse like this... nothing to it.. amazing how much work is actually involved isn't it. I like the way you insulated your floor, wish I'd done mine the same... oh well, next time.. can't beat spray foam insulation though was -30 last winter and was toasty warm... thanks for sharing your journey... @@LacroixCruiser Thanks I’ve got a little over a year in my bus build now, but I started on completing rebuild front and rear undercarriages first and then completely rewired. Then gutted 80’s conversion and I’m now doing the build back. But doing it all alone can sometimes be hard to stay motivated. But the road is calling.

Hello Friends, I just saw your video of the tour on Tiny Homes and subscribed your channel here. I like what you both did with your bus. So, I will watch all of your videos on how you did it. However, I have a question in order to drive this bus tiny home did both of you had to get a bus driver license? No one is sharing this in their bus conversation tiny home videos. Thank you again for taking the time to share your hard work on this cool bus.
@LacroixCruiser

If it’s titled as an RV most states allow you to drive without a special license. Some states will require an air brake endorsement on busses over 26,000 lbs.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful coach. I just started to watch your videos. Keep up the great work. Liked and subscribed 👍 I've mainly been looking at and for MCI's from 1986 to 1997, 102a and 102c3's for the most part and also some 102dl3's. So far, I have not seen any 45' models with the 8v92ta I heard 1998 was the final year the 92 was produced for on road vehicles (I realize that USA military is exempt, as I worked on some 8v92's in Oshkosh HEMTT's and 8v71t's in m109a6 Paladin self propelled howitzers) I'm going to be purchasing a coach soon. I found a 1990 Prevost with the 8v92ta DDEC and 5 speed Allison. (I've mainly been looking for MCI) I don't mind and usually enjoy mechanical, body and electrical work, however I have a temporary injury. The Prevost needs one tag axle air bag (it was punctured) the rest are in good condition. It also has a small leak at the kneeling valve, for lack of better term. I'd be most grateful if you by chance might know a rough guess on replacement cost or source for parts? I have a rough idea of the air bag,as far as without labor. I may have to have the work done, due to injury. I have never worked on a coach, only tracked and heavy wheeled military trucks. The Detroit 2 Strokes are my favorite. I have heard to watch out for rusting on older Prevosts that's supposedly difficult to see without major disassembly? I'm not sure a 1990 would be considered older, as the information source was a BCM article from possibly 2002. Again, beautiful coach, love your work. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance, it's much appreciated. Tres Bien! Merci beaucoup Sincerely, C.I.M. PPS, Please excuse my rambling, I've had many sleepless nights with my bus shopping, lol

The 2 stroke Detroit’s are great engines for sure. The 45 foot coaches are typically powered by a series 60 4 stroke. US Coach in Vineland NJ is a great source for parts, and mechanical advise. Enjoy your shopping, and get well soon.

@@LacroixCruiser I have to admit, the series 60 is, in my opinion, one of the best engines out there. I just happen to have a soft spot for 2 Strokes 😊. Many thanks for the well wishes and for the shop in NJ, that's definitely a big help :) I already sense that there's a good deal of feeling of camaraderie amongst bus conversion enthusiasts. May, you and yours have many, many happy travels together 👍

I really like the bed liner idea. I'm wondering if the bed liner paint comes in different colors? Is that how he got black and red, or did he paint the bed liner red? Maybe a silly question, but I'm not that knowledgeable with bed liner paints.
